Post office in ikotun is not currently waybilling to the east,or benin,i can only send via GIG logistics and its not cheap!!best u seek for alternative in benin so the gods of ur village wont kill you.
Cos you people come to public to post one sided story, mayb it is to gain cheap sympathy or make the seller look bad.

You claiming you cant buy screen guard with camera bump glass for 3k,while in ikeha computer village, tempered glass for mi phones costs 2k,cases go as high as 3k,

Cos we supply it to you guys cheap at God fearing rates does not mean we run charity org.or we are fools.

I still brought 2 pcs tempered glass for mi note 10 on friday for 5k in ikeja.

Cheers

Na that god will strike me down shock me.it is not a crime not to be able to afford something but that mentality of thinking something awful will happen if he spends 3k on a glass get as e be.

Dis kin people with dia kin reasoning,i strive hard to avoid them

He wud rather let the gods of his village strike him,
Risk breaking his screen, and using over 20k to fix it on the long run, than invest 3k on screen protection,

What of people that spend 6k to buy UV protection tempered glasses for there oneplus and samsun phones?cos they know thr screen of the phones cost over 200$ just to buy it alone,

They rather invest 6k to avoid stories that touch.

Most people think is a waste of money to buy premium accessories. What is worth buying, is worth buying well.

The battery consumption is very negligible tho, you won't notice a thing.
I just don't really see the need though

There is a way of side loading Gapps on Chinese ROM search for it on YouTube.

And remove your phone from battery saver. It is only draining more battery at this stage.

Full ROM
https://bigota.d.miui.com/V11.0.9.0.PCOMIXM/miui_GINKGOGlobal_V11.0.9.0.PCOMIXM_59d042a821_9.0.zip

Use a download manager like IDMP to download. After downloading

How to manually update..

Go to Settings > About phone > System update.

If tapping the 3-dot button shows the “Choose update package” option, click on that and choose the downloaded ROM from your internal storage or SD card. In case you don’t find the “Choose update package” option from the 3-dot menu, tap on the MIUI 11 logo inside the “System update” page several times. A prompt will then show that additional updater settings are now available. Now you can tap on Choose update package and select the MIUI 10 update file

That’s it. The system will start decrypting the file and install it automatically for you. Wait for it to finish the process, which may take 10-30 mins

Data should be on during the decryption process

Which phone do you use? Android system is just flexing on RN8 Global version... It consumes as much as the screen and sometimes, more.

Hey guys,

I ordered a xiaomi redmi note 8 from aliexpress 2 weeks ago. Now I realise I have made a mistake.
The phone on the store was stated to be a "global rom". I mistook that to mean "global version". I did not bother to check the supported 4G/LTE bands. I dug a bit through this thread for some info before placing that order. Only this morning, while digging further on this thread I found out that there is a difference between global rom and global version. I went back to the item I orderd and checked. The phone is actually a chinese version with a global rom installed. It does not support MTN and Glo 4G/LTE bands (b7, b20 & 28). And digging further, I realise I may be slapped with a hefty customs charge during pickup. I really feel so disappointed right now. Kindly advise please.
