Interesting.... If your 3k -5k means 3,000 CA$ then maybe you're in the wrong thread.

I am asking on behalf of a friend and the tuition fee that I mean is on Semester to Semester basis not per year.

Oh really? Did you secure admission in the school? The applicants I know had to evaluate their credentials before admisson was granted.

It will end in praise

I got admission in Regina and Wes is compulsory for the department that needs it. In fact my application was shifted to the next term because WES makes me go beyond deadline.
However, I think is not all course that requires Wes. I was ask to confirm if my department need Wes. But if you can do it, I will fasten your process

Good morning e-fam. Can a guru kindly upload the stamped Canada visa and the study permit given at POE? I will really like to see how it looks, even with your canceled personal details.

My question is: if I apply to 2 schools - A for PGC and B for Masters, and A gives me admission letter earlier and I apply for TRV with it and later on, school B offers me admission too, can I eventually attend B even if I get successful approval visa with school A admission letter?
PS - school A and B are in different provinces

Hello Pee2Jay9,

International students are eligible to switch or transfer to another DLI and if located in Quebec, the requirement to get CAQ is mandatory. The only requirement is to update the Gckey Online Account with the new DLI number without needing to inform IRCC except maybe if the International student's status changed prior after landing. Afterwards, IRCC database of the profile will be updated automatically or after several periods has passed.

Thus, if an international student intend to switch or transfer from a current course of study or program that got their permit issued, the need to inform IRCC or updating the GcKey holds no significance or default. This means it only concerns the DLI and the international student since the learning institution didn't change.

Good morning my people

Please, must a business be registered for it to be used as home tie?

NB: it's a small scale biz that's been evolving over time, I have taken time to explain this in the LOE.

Will the explanation be enough? I intend adding like 3 months transaction statements of the biz.

Still not sure if it will be enough..

If CAC is a must, wont registering a company and using it to file application almost immediately be a red flag?

Your opinions always matter, thanks.

Hello Crystalheart,

A business size is of no principal interest to IRCC and the VO are required to assess applications on if all the requirements are met and if meeting such requirements will outweigh the source of funds.

For an easily verifiable and well-substantiated evidence, the CAC document holds much esteemed recognition per se. It can't raise no other colour of flag including the red colour, even if its recently registered. There are other options of showing the most applicable like the Business Receipts/Customer Transactions, Contracts, Revenue Payment, Income Tax Clearance/Certificate et al.

In the foregoing, to be able to lay a proper claim of being attached to the mother root, the importance to include tangible documentations cannot be overemphasized.

I am preparing to submit my application, but I have a few questions to clarify:

1. The reference letter I received from my current employer is almost 2 months old. Can I still use it for my application after 2 months? I saw a checklist with a 2 month validity period, I was wondering if that's the requirement. I want to avoid requesting for a new one.

2. I want to include my pension statement of account in my application, not as proof of funds but as a home tie. I received the SOA around March, is the validity period for this also a month? Can I still use it now or do I need to get a new statement of account.

3. I have two bank accounts, a salary account and a savings account where I saved for my education. So when I receive my salary, I transfer my savings to the savings account. I want to upload only my savings account in my proof of funds section (that's where all the funds for my education is), and then include my salary account in my client information section as evidence of legit income with my pay slips, is this a good idea?

Please , i have gotten an admission, what is the chance of study visa, because i have two kids that will be going with me.4 and 6 years old.

Hello Koonleh,

The chance of a family application is never too slim if it fits accordingly. Therefore, it necessitate that PA will have to show good financial stability/sufficiency and strong home-ties amongst other requirements. If there maybe any limitations to this, then consider filing a sole application.

All statements of account printed should be recent ones ... A statement of account only lasts 30 days after printing , so march statement has expired

If it’s possible to get a new reference letter its better
High regards

Hello Insanity,

The reference letter as per validity is of two months expiry. However, if you have your employment/appointment letter, the reference letter can be included as optional. There have been applicants who'd successfully applied without a reference letter.

Any financial document issued by a financial house has an expiration of one month. If you intend to use any document for a specific purpose of substantiating a fact, do well to alert the attention of the VO and don't just dump.

You should consider using your Savings Account and support it with your payslips.

Yeah, because the professors that ask me to put their names in my application did not mention WES evaluation also the Graduate program chair that I contacted too. I think WES evaluation is compulsory for all Engineering courses and Education

Thanks a lot for your help.

My first employer just gave me a reference letter for this application and I didn't receive any appointment letter from them when I worked with them 8 years ago. For the second employer, I have an employment letter and a reference letter that will soon expire. My current employment is part time and not paid, and I have only a reference letter from them.

I want to use the reference letters and the employment letter for my application. I hope not to get delayed due to employment situation.

For the pension statement, I mentioned it in my SOP under the home ties section that it was for that purpose.

I will remove the salary account and use only the savings with the pay slips.

Thanks a lot for your assistance.

its going to expire July 15th
You would always count 30 days from the start date of the SOA
That’s a rule from CIC
If you submit July 16 you can be denied due to financial insufficiency so try and make sure you submit before July 15th

Hi guys,
My case is quite peculiar. To think i gave my testimony in part 11 but i couldn't travel to school anymore because of a major issue. Now i am starting the process all over again. Please i need your valuable advice on these.
1. I was granted a student study visa in 2016 but i couldn't go, i also did not know that i was supposed to inform IRCC that i will not be able to make it. will this affect my new student visa application since they most likely will have all this info on record?
2. Should i mention it in my LOP during my new study visa application, that i was once granted a study visa and explain the reason i couldn't go?
3. can i send a message to IRCC now to explain before i begin the whole process of applying for a visa?
i will appreciate your response(s). Thank you

2. Is it necessary to submit employment letter hence there is an introduction letter?
3. His employment letter has a different surname because he did a change of name in 2008. Pls how do we go about that?

Masters degree fee of about 1.4m for the whole program? And not scholarship? That might be difficult albeit.
