I don't want to believe its my sim extender cos it has been perfect til yesterday. The network varnishes and doesn't come back even when I toggle airplane mode. Goin through settings, it's like no sim in sim 1nat all, but wen I restart the phone (without tampering with the sim extender), the sim 1 comes back to life.
I have inspected the sim extender, it passed the eye test, as it has not physically damage. What could be the issue?

It's your netw. If it's the extender, no matter how many reboots, it won't work.

kindly ignore, it's has been sorted.
No, won't ignore grin. You lost just 3% after 3 hours of idle time with two fluctuating networks, that's a really good battery performance you have there.
Secondly, you don't need to panic whether phone idle, or Android system or whatever is at the top of the list of battery consumption on your device, battery is meant to be consumed, consumption can never be totally the same. As I believe you already know, temperature, screen brightness ( if you use auto brightness and spend most of your time using your phone outdoors, expect more battery drain since screen brightness will automatically go to maximum), screen on time (the total time your screen lights up), network stability/ instability, mobile hotspot, WiFi, quality of video watched ( FHD movies consume much more battery than lower res movies like 720p, 480p, 360p, etc), type of games played, change of location ( you'll observe that your battery drains faster when traveling), to mention but a few, affect the rate of battery consumption. It is practically impossible for two persons to have exactly same battery consumption even though they use similar devices. So long you get a good SOT on your normal routine, there's nothing to worry about.

Potential New User. What's Global Version in Xiaomi?
I've seen good reviews generally but what are expected inconveniences?
Please, help.

Xiaomi release two phone variants , Chinese version and global version. Global version variant is for the rest of the world.
