Emekus I have not read anything about the capital of Ivory Coast Yamusokro from you. Abidjan is not the capital. Thanks.

If u travel too " ivory coast " and u had not traveled to Abidjan, then u have not yet traveled to ivory coast...... Abidjan is what ivory coast is all about. But if you love politics and government then "yamoussoukro" is your vet grin

Have not been there but i know what Abidjan and their state capital is

That place is for politicians, that is too tell u that life there is expensive....

Is also nice place though

I understand. It's like Lagos and Abuja. Abuja being the capital with politicians while Lagos is the most recognised by hustlers.

You can try Kubwa, Lugbe , or closer towns to the city like Karu Site, Jikwoyi. I don't want to mention Nyanya you may not like there.

You'll only waste your money, even Benin republic close to us, you'll not hear the sound of generator talkless of Solar...

The fact Nigeria is useless doesn't make Ivory coast useless, they may have problem or some issues as a country but Electricity, clean water and good roads isn't one of them..

I understand bro. You know that USA has constant power supply and they still support green energy, I was wondering if IC does the same.

grin light is not an issue for most states in ivory may be only very few states u can actually thought of.... A state like " SAN PEDRO " and the funny thing is that is like that is where their "sea port" is, and also one of the richest state in ivory coast, if not 3rd richest state in " ivory coast " They are also some few state that may be experencing little "black out"

But believe me majority of states can boost of 247 power supplies..

CONCLUTION - just work on "San Pedro state" then plan to relocate there

May be i have too think about writing some States in ivory coast ( no be every body get power for Abidjan...) grin ...

I understand u bro, Solar Energy is a no brainer in IC but don't make it sound as if I was asking if there are no constant electricity supply in IC. There are constant power supply in many west African states, I'm aware of that.

Good day guys..., like i promise to get some real fact on some question raised on houses and place to stay. i had made some few contact with my friend before today and also talk to him today to be sure of what he told me.

Firstly, you most know that the figures are in cefa and not naira, and by that, naira currency is above cefa ( not much gap although).

So let start with housing....

STUDIO ONE BEDROOM - 30-35,000 cefa every month. If u want to start... Some can take 200,000 cefa as (agreement fee) and every month u will be paying 30,000 cefa.

Also if you want the ones of 15 to 20,000cefa because it has (public toilet) hustler choice grin. . .... You can also get the ones of 25,000 cefa studio apartment that is good alone and with private toilet not public. But if u want a room & parlor then is 50-60,000 , some can collect 4 or 5 months cusion from you, and also take 250,000 from for agreement.

Also they are another STUDIO APARTMENT for 40,000cefa that is called " AMERICA STUDIO" grin that is big. So it all depend on how much u bring into the country for house . and again if u want places that is cheap in Abidjan that u can be paying like 30,000cefa or 35000cefa, but places like " Berger, des wit and a place called panama, dat is cheap! u have to be calculating ur transport from work to house( please not sure of those spellings is been long ooo) cheesy does places like the places i listed u can get a Room and Parlor for 35 to 40,000kcefa that is good with well furnished with ties.

For the BUSINESS - it depend on the business you are coming to do, but if you are coming from Nigeria is better to know the business you are coming with that u can sale & get ur money or if u are coming to do business in ivory coast you can come then look for business, and it's depend on your finance u have at hand.......

So guys, i believe i had done justice to some questions....

@deb07, give me time to answer the rest of ur questions.

See you guys later for another update.

In short Cheapest Self contain is sha #200k per annum .... Which is not a bad business ... if u want more you can get more....

So because I want to rent a house I have to pay 200,000CFA as agreement fee ... shey dey will refund me my 200kcfa if I wan pack comot abi e don go be that ....

Agreement fee too cost ooo ... here na 10% of ya per annum and we still dey give dem 3% sef or dash dem recharge card money .... e cost ooo !!

Thanks for the update. These figures are very high even in naira equivalent PER MONTH for face me I face you.

Re: My Sweet "Ivory Coast" Memories by Bollove: 3:45pm On Jun 21, 2020

It ain’t high tho, when converted to Naira it like 25k to 30k a month for a self contain and we pay like 250k to 300k here for one year, so do the calculation it’s still the same total price if put together in a year..
U forget the agreement fee of 200,000cfa bro ... grin ... that's around #130k .... apart from my house rent of 30kcfa about #20k ... e say wetin grin ...

20x12=240 + 130=370 .... for SC grin

If you dey for Abidjan and want to enjoy beach life, branch small to Grand Bassam or Assinie.

I went to latter for 3 day music festival in 2016.Relaxed place with a lot of artists...I am a creative dude so was in my element. Mixed with French oyibo cougars, sengalese painters etc...

In Bassam, I spent every night in this Congolese soukous bar....the kind of waist movements there eh....even till date, my eye never recover

HELLO GUYS,

Like i promise to update today , i will be sharing something little about how days of the weeks are, in ivory coast. I know many people only have one day of the week in their heart.....

So lets go,

* I will be starting with MONDAY, i know this day to Nigerians is the most serious day among other days of the week.. ( cool down bro, life is not hard grin)

Yes! In ivory coast is like that too but this Ivorians always want to mixed "pleasure and work"

I remember, starting from when i left my house going to meet my Ivorians guys, when i had not yet gotten a soccer team.... From the road side you starting seeing people trooping into the bar and club, and the only question i was asking my self was " is like this people came to night club on Sunday but not yet left the club till Monday morning " grin then again my mind will start running through, and again i ask my self this question " but if they are here from Sunday till Monday, does that mean dey dnt have a job or are they the managers of does companies..."

I was confused this way.... till one faithful monday, as i was going to meet my Ivorian guys..... I saw a white nice ride coming into the bar, then i said " where is this car going then i make sure to know where it was going too... My brethren i saw him driving to where people are dancing, then i finally conclude that this people club even on Monday morning. The painful thing is that is early in the morning by 8am, i saw those people in the club dancing i was so angry but a voice came to me and said " now u know u are in a foreign country" grin that is how i mind my business and FACE where i was going too cool

* TUESDAY'S :- what i notice to my own opinion is a day when the week just started grin forget does people that goes too work by Monday, they are still carrying some " hang over" most managers or directors are likely not be on seat grin "you blame them? " U better dnt blame them.... A country that closes from 2pm or 4pm from work grin

So if a manager or director that went to club starting from Friday to Sunday and he had " hang over" do u think he will be bothery him self? When he knows by 2pm work is closed cheesy

That was why i said Tuesday is Monday to them... When their eyes is now cleared and they start facing realities ( money don finish by that time cheesy

WEDNESDAY:- their markets are always filled up, the atmosphere is always lively. And that is when u will also discover a tribe called "JULA" i believe it originated from " Burkina Faso" but is also an " Ivorian tribe also. Their girls are like those pretty girls in the north of Nigeria ...... That is when u will see a real beauty and standing b**b and nice a** ( na u know Weting dey ur mind ooo) i just they explain cheesy

Na there u go cry why u no hear French! You go call one she go rush come, then after u call her... Weting u won talk? grin

That is where u start thinking of learn French fast! grin

Your * Mr do good" go just they suffer u.... because e dey see something. grin God forgive my sins..... I won just tell them make them know Weting i go see for there.

Let me just stop for this Wednesday, because na "adult content " day. cheesy

I want make people fit sleep this night grin

So guys, i will update THURSDAY, FRIDAY And SATURDAY ( samedi SUA) cheesy, even SUNDAY.

This remaining days are EPIC, so i need enough time to relax too write it.

So guys, see u soon for updates....
