Nairaland reaches 2.5m members today and we have to annouce it because we need no court order giving us the go ahead... I hope one day this forum would be used as a tool in solving major Nigeria problems. I don't need long write up on this, not because the inventor of "copy and paste" is dead but I feel like making it short.

When some people I know have ten monikers, the scammers open new accounts every day and trolls have at least a hundred accounts, why should I believe we are up to the stated number? For all I know it’s only about 200 people who come here daily.
Re: Nairaland Reaches 2.5M Members Today by Nobody: 2:48pm On Jun 24, 2020
Some members have more than 10 alternate accounts.
Some members are dead,
Some accounts are on ban.
Most account are inactive
The real Nairaland members should be 300,000 or thereabout they are not up to 2.5m.

True talk, it's not like we are badbelle-ing or discrediting the figure, I know one lucifer guy that has more than 50 lucifer prefix monikas.
The picture below says it all.

The guy is a fervent atheist, if u are a religious person be it Christian or Muslim, never u read his comments they are all anti religious comments and he back them up with fact and engage in intelligent argument.

That's not a nice thing to say.

This site is just starting and the first people on the site happen to be Igbos. They are posting Igbo related stuff, do you rather they post things from your ethnic group? What is wrong if Igbos post Igbo stuff? Did you post anything (even a guest) that was removed?

It's not right to pass judgment like that bro. Not cool.
