Your appointment letter will show you are working there as a manager. You can still use the company as a home tie cos the company is owned by your dad and obviously you work there and will be coming back to assume a higher and maintain the same position.

Hello, house I have started my online application but I don't see a section to upload most of the documents suggested in this thread such as SOA, POLICE REPORT, NYSC ETC. and also my dad is sponsoring me is there a need for affidavit of support and which section should I upload it?

Are you saying I should submit the cac documents along side my appointment letter? That's enough?

Am saying the appointment letter is evidence that you work there as a manager. Use the cac documents are both home ties and source of your sponsors fund since you can't change the cac documents to your name.

Okay I was thinking of writing a letter to explain the situation since am self sponsored I don't want any confusion

Okay now I get you..Since you are self-sponsored, you can't use your dad's company Cac documents as yours cos it's in his name. Therefore it suggest you include your employment letter, payslips. Your dad can write a letter of affidavit stating he will transfer ownership of the company upon your return. That will then help your case in terms of using the company as home ties

Through webform but you know IRCC operations are on pause mode. So if you upload, no update till operations resume.

Hello Justmellow

I would like to clarify some important point in the reply that you gave to @ymcoo7
You said the permit would have been canceled after 90 days as stipulated by the IRCC
1. Are you referring to TRV in this case because i learnt that study permit are only issued at POE
2. How long is the TRV going to remain valid because alot of us are taking fall semester online and it would be somewhere around January before we go. Please help us add more information to avoid story that touch the heart.

Thanks and stay Blessed.

Hello Aliadi2,

Even if it hasn't been issued, it can still be cancelled because an approval can as well be cancelled. It won't be well-suited saying it expired. The TRV (S-1) will be issued either based on the length of your program, the validity of your PP or otherwise. If the TRV expires, there is the option of an extension.

All the best

Hello all on this forum. I wouldn't really like to describe myself as a newcomer here, as I have, for the past couple of months, been a silent and diligent reader of people's experiences, ( both woes and victories), at times uplifting and more often than not, scary and demotivating I must say !!. I have read, tried to cover substantially, and digested most of the information on this thread right from inception till date. Infact I feel like I belong to a family that doesn't even realize I exist.. I do have questions, infact LOTS!! and request (if required later) that will follow this comment. But first, Yoruba will say "E fi owo fun eni ti owo to si". Meaning: ( Learn to give honor/thanks to whom it is due). I want to specifically say Hi to @Frankrobbn1, @Qudkom, @soj, @justwise, @justmellow , @Lekiboboe and many others on this forum whom, despite not getting any form of financial incentive (which is our usual 9ja norm) has selflessly devoted their time to share their highly valued knowledge and experiences to guide people whom they have or may never even meet. You are helping to shape destinies in more ways than you realize. Thank you and God bless you all. As @Frankrobbn1 continues to profess ; "it will end in praise" . IJMN Amen.

Hello YemmyPOG,

You're doing well.

There are no cheap universities. If you are looking for lesser tuition fee, you start considering colleges.

Lekiboboe:

Hello,
there is no specific section to Upload ur Police Report, NYSC etc.

U will need to merge them all together into one PDF file and upload it to your Client Information (upload section meant for u as an Applicant)

SOA has its own Uploading Section, Proof of Means of Financial Support thats where ur sponsor's documents etc., sch. Fees payment receipt etc . will be uploaded

U might need to visit the link Below , so as to avoid error in ur UPLOADINGS

DETAILED LIST OF DOCUMENTS FOR STUDY VISA AND THEIR APPROPRIATE CATEGORIES FOR UPLOAD
https://www.nairaland.com/4773130/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/33#72169936

Credits : @frankrobbn1

For ur Client Information

In order to make it cool in terms of arrangement and not in a scattering manner, u can categorise dem and list them on a Table of Content format having bullets (using MS Word) , Convert it to PDF, after that, merge the documents u intend to Upload together with the sequence arrangement of that Table of content
Note: The table of content must come first bfor the other documents

Advisably all ur Documents should be in PDF,
e.g

EDUCATION
B.Sc /HND /M.SC Cert.
Transcript
WAEC /Neco result
WAEC Cert. (If u av)
Letter of Confirmation of Proficiency in English Language (that's if u can get it from ur school)
Type all of this in MS Word, convert to PDF then
MERGE ALL DOCS. (PDF) together in THIS section

......move to the next page

Hometies-Family ties
Parents Landed Properties..
U gonna list all docs. U intend to upload
E.g Deed of Assignment
Affidavit of sales and other necessary land doc.
Birth certificate of ur siblings
etc.
MERGE ALL DOCS. in THIS section

.....move to d Next page.

Others
Statement of Purpose (SOP)
Police Clearance cert.
and any other supporting documents

Like I said initially,
Proof of Means Of Financial Support has its own Upload Section
That's where u gonna upload ur sponsor docs. (dad, Mum, Bro. Etc..)
E.g Tuition fee payment receipt
Sponsorship letter
Affidavit of support etc.

Do all this Categorization arrangement on Microsoft Word, then when u are done with what u typed on MS WORD, convert it to PDF using the link below

https://www.ilovepdf.com/word_to_pdf

Note:
if u eventually merge all the documents together, make sure it is not more than 4MB on the dot (I.e 4.00MB, 4.09mb is the limit) Cos it won't upload if its more than that. Use the online tool below to compress ur documents if necessary..

https://www.ilovepdf.com/compress_pdf

All da best!!!!

Thanks a lot, this cleared alot of questions i had.

I logged in to give you a small advise that You don’t have to use. This field, petroleum engineering, is probably the most struggling field in Canada for some years now. I know people who have done this course that are unable to get a job. Some have switched course or careers to finance or IT.

Based on my little experience, I may use this program to apply for visa because of the importance of connection between past undergraduate and Proposed graduate Programs. However, I will have a backup program to switch to once I get my visa. If your plan is to stay and work in Canada after your study, don’t tell your student visa officer this, I would advice you carefully evaluate the industry you invest your time and money for study.

If I have a full scholarship and can’t afford tuition, sure I will do Petroleum Eng. As an alternative, I may consider a fully funded MSc in chemical engineering. I think it is related to petroleum engineering but will suggest I can do more than oil and gas. Thank you.

For a Webform, pls Google "canadian webform" and u will get it. The process is simple and straightforward.

As par link, I believe it's against the rules to post third party sites here, I don't want to be banned by yours truly @justmellow. But go to page 114, the first post is the link to wat u are asking for.
