Please I'm trying to help my brother to process his Turkish study visa for masters programme. I contacted a Turkish agent to assist us with the admission process. He told us the fees is $1000+ yearly whereas I learnt public universities are much cheaper (about $300). I'm so concerned about sending money to him (a stranger) when occasion calls for it. So how you process yours...did you deal directly with the university or via an agent. Kindly assist, I wouldn't mind applying in the same University you applied through.

eddykelechianya:

for me the 800k is quite expensive tho.. i did mine alone.. i only paid the school application fee then 1000 USD for school fees and i got all the necessary documents and i got the visa.. You can do all that yourself and save some money like 300k or so except u dont want to stress ursef..

Re: Turkey Visa Application Delay by eddykelechianya: 11:18pm On Jun 28, 2020
it was my brother that stays in turkey that applied to the school.. then when i got the addmision.. I did everything myself without using agent.. It is really not a hard thing to do though... I am studying MBA in Istanbul Gelisim Univ..fees total is like 4000 USD.. but i paid 1k USD at 1st so i could get the admission letter..which I used to apply for VISA... then I was told to pay 750 USD every 4 months via instalment to cover up the 3000 USD remaining..mine is a private univ tho.. I dont really know about public univs..Cause most foreigners here attend private univs..

it is okay.. though you might want to check how many schools you will be working with and the time durations and the distance also. cause all these details matters.. plus they wont give you free time...

illicit:

No.
Thanks for your response.

There is no middle man.
The internship employment is straight from the school, they have contacted me already. I am to go and teach English language to primary and secondary school students. Accomodation and food is covered.
the pay is 3000 TRY for a month.

The duration is one year.

exactly.. i know they dont provide food and accomodation. and they make you work for every penny they pay you... even at your own detriment..

Dejoe2019:
Are you sure of what you are saying?

I am in Turkey and I know why I am asking you. Getting a teaching job of 3,000 TL here is difficult for many graduates without accommodation and feeding. Not to talk of bringing someone from abroad in the name of internship and provide him with accommodation and feeding. Which school does that? We have many graduates here working in a factory. Be very sure because it smells scam to me.

1. Am not based in Abuja, is it compulsory that the notarisation of documents must be done in Abuja?

2. I want to have an idea of what documents to notarise (do I have to notarise my bank statement too?)

Yes it's very important that you notarize and authenticate your documents
You have to travel to Abuja to get it done.

2. Bsc certificate and your neco or waec certificate
You don't need to notarize your bank statement

I will advise you to book appointment and get all your documents ready first before going to Abuja

I'm here to help you with any info you may require

Your application has been forwarded to the Turkish embassy for evaluation. So, you should be waiting to receive the final notification about your visa.
