According to Victor Giadom Twitter account, below is his reaction to APC NEC decisions today.

My Take on the outcome of today’s APC NEC meeting: I had earlier said that the collective decision of the entire NEC will prevail in today’s meeting. I also promised to stand by any decision decided.

President Buhari, in his remarks recommend the immediate discontinuation of all pending litigations involving the party and its members; ratifying the primary election conducted in Edo State; Dissolving the current National Working Committee, and appointing caretaker/Extra-ordinary Convention Planning committee for the party.

President Buhari informed NEC members that in order to return to the “winning ways’’, the APC must maintain cohesion by closing its ranks.The NEC meeting adopted all the recommendations by President Buhari, and appointed the Governor of Yobe State, Mallam Mai Buni, as Caretaker National Chairman, while Senator John Akpanudoede was designated Caretaker National Secretary.

Finally there is No Victor, No Vanquished. The Togetherness and cohesion Of Our Great Party Has Always Been Our Prayers.

Zombies are like gas. They can fit into any container just to claim a pyrrhic victory. Oshiomole is gone with a wimper and they still claim Tinubu won.

FYI, Buhari just handed over control of the party to the governors. This is the same move that drew Tinubu's anger against Oyegun. I understand what he did in picking governors he feels are less polarized and able to make decisions devoid of sentiments but the truth is the new NWC is now the PGF to all intents and purposes.

Two northern govs and one southern govs who will always interact with Fayemi as NGF chairman and Bagudu as PGF chairman is a sure mountain to climb for Tinubu. The convention will not hold until 2021 at least and by then the effective control of the party might have been put in the hands of our always politicking govs who would rather their states suffer than their political interests.

However, APC as a party is tottering on the brink of eclipse. The emergence of a caretaker committee never ends well for any political party and APC will not be an exception. This is because every decisions taken by them will always be contested. Tinubu has to start everything all over again and nothing is guaranteed him in this particular scenario
