See a doctor if you feel stressed, unusually out of breath or pains when you exercise

If you see some folks doing several kilometers per day or lifting 200kg, it's not for everyone

Walking briskly for 30min daily and some form of rigorous exercise once a week is sufficient for most people. Eat healthy, smaller portions and no heavy food after 7pm. Cut down on sugar, alcohol and stop smoking

Walking is good for you, but don't be scared of jogging.

What is key is start slow. Do it for a few minutes at a time. Don't speed. You are not an Olympic runner yet.

Stop if you feel palpitations or chest pain

Of course, before commencing any exercise regimen, see a doctor for advise.

Though, walking is also a very good form of exercise still

People who die while jogging either 1) have a undiagnosed heart condition 2) are severely overweight, and started running too fast 3) are probably undiagnosed hypertensives

That's why before starting any exercise regimen, see your doctor. Do an ECG , both resting and stress ECG, and have your doc look at it. Check for hypertension first too.

Start slow. It may be necessary to start with walking first, then after several months, jog for one minute, then gradually icnrease the distance over time

The Couch to 5k programme could be helpful.

Before you embark on any exercises, get your vitals or consult a licensed Physiotherapist

Nawa o. RIP to him. I just did ECHO and Electro last week. I even get hypertension without knowing. Please check your heart once in a while to avoid situations like this. E go cost you small but na who dey alive dey chop money.

If you are a long distance runner, A beginner may feel slight pain in the chest but with time the pain subsides as your heart acclimatizes to the workout.
sometimes it a slight twitch at the lower side of the right abdomen. If this happens don't panic, just make sure you are not dehydrated and try to breath in deeply with time too that will subside.
Moreover who knows whether the Lagos city marathon will hold next year, I'm training for it o. I no won hear story

Anyone can die from cardiac arrest. The pictures show he was of sound health. This is an unfortunate incident. At least he died doing something he enjoyed, there are no regrets there.

That man does not look healthy to me. He has medium pot belly, having pot belly is a signal that you will die young.

In summary, If you have belly fat you are unhealthy. If you have such belly please watch your diet, get a belly trainer, Undergo fasting and reduce that balloon you call tummy before I see you with your stupid big tummy obstructing me on the way and panting like an exhausted mule.
