There is no way enough classes won't be available for exit classes of JS3 and SS3 to finish their terms, especially when everyother classes are empty and the pupils to stay home for the meantime.

If they are awaiting for vaccine, they should wait for next six years to resume school.

GP tanks containing liquid soaps are in place at each school entry, and all pupils, staff, teachers will wear their face masks, likewise they will be all tested.

This APC government is wicked, just because they have not finished cashing out, they intend to continue the lockdown.

Where in Lagos are private lessons not on-going? And any witnessed death of children in any Local Govt? Go to all the markets in Nigeria, they are full to the brim with child hawkers selling and doing business. Yet no feared death tolls recorded.

Abeggi

oooooooooooooooooo

abegi where you get the brain to say this ehen?

in my area they are like schools should not open ooo

yet their children go out and mix with other children that mix with other children that come from another area after mixing with other children which just returned from mixing with other children

the parents and people who are saying it is suicidal to open school always go out too and return to their children

some even travel out of the state and relate with people who also go out and never observe the guidelines of NCDC

what am I saying sef how many NCDC OFFICERS and medical workers observe their own enacted guidelines even up to 90 percent?

yet no record of small children or teenegers death talkless of alarming death in Nigeria

I think we should do what is right and not destory the economy by pleasing fearful people and selfish people especially those who are benefiting from this pandemic and those who can't think properly

in short God bless you sir

Truth is, those who are buying landed properties from proceeds of this SCAMdemic want the situation to continue as it is, and they play the guitar by warping the minds of some "ignorant" public members.

It is very sad the extent selfishness can push many Nigerians.

Oyo knows wat he his doing,..we have to take the risk, if we can open market places where social distancing is not duly observed,... definitely we can open schools.

E-learning can't function in Nigeria.

If you have been following world politics since the 1990s you will understand that Trump is a threat to humanity and earth may not survive another 4 years of Trump
United state as a world police can not afford to adopt a protectionist system of government because everything in this world revolves around USA leadership
If you follow Trump and read all his tweets during the Ebola virus epidemics you will understand he adopted the same system early this year and that led us to where we are right now
Have you ever wonder why there was no pandemic since we were born(the last was 1918)? And why there is no more war around the world? It’s just because all the organizations set up after the world war 2 were working perfectly until they were all dismantled in 2016 by Trump through NIKKEY HARLEY
United nation has about 21 branches,USA has pulled out of about 14 there by rendering it useless or handed it over to evil government who happened to be next highest donor after usa
In the last few years Trump has made lot of decision that is affecting me and you today or will probably kill us
Do you know how many free immunization the babies are getting in Nigeria ? About 14 now tell me how are they going to get it after Trump stop funding the UN?
All the free family planning? How are we going to get it
Corona virus vaccine because UN announced they will need 31 billion dollars to vaccinate the world, where are they going to get the money without Usa funding, mind you Europeans are already paying deposit to buy the vaccine to vaccinate their citizen, where is our government going to get the money to buy the vaccine without UN
Do you know Trump wanted to buy the vaccine for USA alone? he offered German company 2billion dollars to make it for USA alone but German government stopped the deal,he also tried to hijack French company researching the vaccine
The list goes on
You guys may not realize how bad TRUMP is and how he is killing the world till it’s too late
Your country's president cannot take over from where Trump want to stop abi.
I thought China is a new leader in economy, China president should release the so called 31 billion dollars.

Confused lots.

Yhu want everywhere to open but you don't want schools to open.

Most of yhu go out without face mask nor use hand sanitizer and yhu return home to yhur kids; dumbos, that's also putting yhur kids and family at risk.

Yhu don't want schools to resume, but yhu want the government to open everywhere.

What sort of people are yhu guys?

Look, go to ogunpa market, iyana oja, Gbagi and other popular markets in Ibdan and see how exposed these people go about their usual business and nothing like strange death anywhere around there.

Who are those people in those markets? Aliens?

Don't they get back home to their kids and family?

How have they being doing it without any fear or worries of contacting the virus?

Dumb citizens of a country governed by dumb and brainless leaders.

Yhu people should leave Makinde alone. He's one governor I've seen with sense.

Others are just follow follow without any meaningful contribution or solution to the so called virus.

This ur post make sense. Most Nigerians are just hypocrites

How long will the schools be under lock?

When do you the virus will stop spreading?

Should we wait until we find the cure before our pupils back to school?

Most pupils are attending lessons that have more than 50 pupils in attendance.

His own wife and kids are already in America with best of hospitals

Nonsense.

Churches - Yes, with strict social distancing and sanity.

Mosques - Yes, with strict social distancing and sanity.

Markets - No, unless they can reorganize the markets to maintain social distancing and sanity.

Schools - Never, until corona is defeated.

Majority of school people from primary school, secondary school and to higher institutions ( No less than 70 percent) go to school and from school by public transportation.
The little kids become endangered species.

No No No to redemption of schools.

just listen to yourself...
"Until Corona is defeated." —let me ask you, when will that be?

public transportation?? do you know that people still make use of it without social distancing??

You said markets No. —On this one, I stand to doubt if truely you are in Nigeria... Because markets are going on very well without social distancing.. and who goes to the markets aliens or humans??
"little kids becoming endangered species."— grin
Same little ones that meet with their parents and siblings who fail to observe social distancing and refuse to wear nose masks??

Same people who go to schools also go to the markets and churches. Besides, despite the closure of schools people still contract the virus.

I'm not debating if it's real or not but we can't keep hiding from it (of which we not doing). We just have to take the leap of faith.....

Covid19 just like other diseases is here to stay, we just have to live it. Not opening schools will only continue to alter the school calendar.

What then do we do??
Go on with our daily activities with nose masks if you fall sick of Covid19, go for treatment simple.

It is not a death sentence Biko!!!

But they are also asymptomatic. This means that COVID-19 can be distributed within student then taken home to kill a quarter of the parents.

I wouldn't allow kids out there!

With better adherence to safety precautions covid spread would be limited surely.
The only reason why covid-19 still spreads is that adults can't even adhere well enough to safety measures.

Now you want to bring children to the fore??

No No for me.

Also note that it takes 1yr and 6months for a vaccine to be proven effective for human administration. Vaccine passing clinical trials doesn't guarantees it will soon be on board.Covid-19 vaccine should be ready by ending of next year.

A vaccine is already passed clinical trail phase and incase you don't know, Texas did the same and reopened now they are having a crisis same as Ghana and South Africa
