Sirheny007, drop the site with code. Not judging your character but sending pms is not an advisable thing on NL. These days are scary, like JHC said “Goldfish Has No Hiding Place”.

Have you ready any of Vince Flynn's novels?

I got all James hardley Chase e-copy at a time online. Just type James hardley Chase novel PDF downloads u may get most of them.

Literature Titans!
Who is your favourite author of all time? Foriegn or Local.

For me, Rene Raymond Brabazon a.k.a James Hadley Chase is my favorite author of ALL time!

He's the crowned KING of all thriller writers!

50 of his book have been made into films!
He's a legend. He's my mentor!

Keep the comments rolling in!

I give it to James Hardely Chase, not that we don't have equally good or probably better writers now but just because he could do it over and over again. Out of over 200 books written under the name of harley chase and over 30 under the name of Raymond Marshal (I have personally read over 150 of his books) only a few you can say don't really whao you, the rest are bombshells. So, give it to James Hardley Chase. It is difficult to pick the best out of all his books, but if I must pick I will go for "Want to Stay Alive"?

Mention must be made of people like Jefferry Archer, Wilbur Smith and Ken Follett. (For the record, my personal best novel of all times still remains Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follet)

Jackie Collins : Hlollywood Wives, Hollywood Husbands, The World is Full of Divorced Women, Rock Star, Lucky, Chances, Lady Boss, Lucky Vendatta, Dangerous Kiss, Hollywood Kids, Hollywood Divorce, The Stud, The World is Full of Married Men,

Sidney Sheldon : If Tomorrow Comes, Rage of an Angel, Master of the Game, Noonday Conspiracy, Naked Face, The Other Side of Midnight, Bloodline, Memories of Midnight, The Stars Shine Down, Stranger in the Mirror...

Danielle Steel: ( Daddy, Zoya, Malice, Lightning, Story of Nick,

John Grisham : The Street Lawyer, Pelican Brief, The Firm,

Jeffery Archer: Kane and Abel, The Prodigal Daughter

Other great authors are: Sandra Brown, Dean Koontz, Stephen King, Barbara Kartland, Robert Ludlum, Dan Brown,

Wow! I love reading!

Usually hide to read Jackie Collins then (couldn't afford to let my sisters catch me reading their books not to talk of one with those kind of vivid contents). For the Jefferey Archer, you need to complete the series, the next one after Prodigal daughter is "Shall we tell the president?" Jefferey Archer is a story teller, his short stories too are solid. My best from him so far is still "Not a penny more, not a penny less" I can also go for "honor among thieves"

Sirheny007:
This is akin to asking a father to choose which among his sons he loves best. A paterfamilias worth his salt will not do that.
I will list 5 of my favorite authors of all times.

1. Lawrence Block
2. James Hardley Chase (Renee Brabazon)
3. Peter Cheyney
4. Chinua Achebe
5. Dan Brown

This list can alternate anyhow and I would not mind

Ps: James Hardly Chase wrote 153 books and I have read all of them!

MODIFIED: I am surprized no one has mentioned Agatha Christie!! The most published author on the face of the earth dead or alive

Have you read the ficticious "Bury him like a hero" which everybody talks about yet no one has read? The supposed final act between Mark Girland and his KGB enemy/friend Malik

I have all of them in e-book format (Epub to be precise)

I won't mind to have them if you can share, I will need to confirm my record again, because by my record then I read over 160 but don't have the list again. I need to know if my counting is correct

For me, choosing a favourite author isn't possible but if I were to suggest, the following are favourites;
Janet Evanovich (for humour and thriller)
Michael Crichton (for Sci-fi)
Sidney Sheldon (thriller)
Dan Brown (history, mystery, religious conspiracy, thriller)
B. A Paris (marriage mystery, psychological thtiller)
Markus Zusak (Life lessons)
Chuck Palahniuk (Novels that speak to u, if u know what I mean, nice tone to his writing style, very unique)
Agatha Christie (hardcore mystery novels)
Jeffrey Archer
Don Winslow
Stieg Larsson (I'll recommend Millennium Series)
Ken Follett (very much underappreciated)
Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
Leye Adenle (Nigerians write crime fiction too)
D.O Fagunwa
Michael Dobbs (author of House of Cards Trilogy)
Angie Thomas (writes about racism against Blacks)
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (mystery, crime fiction, creator of Sherlock Holmes; even Chase gave props)
Sue Grafton (alphabetical series)
Maeve Binchy
Peter Swanson
Elnathan John
Adrian McKinty (I'll suggest The Chain; fine novel)
Amos Tutuola
Buchi Emecheta (arguably Africa's greatest female author)

And of course, all the Heinemann African series writers, whose books seem to be unavailable anywhere online.

Strictly for Cash remains my best. Where that boxer dude ran off with a girl that had this big shot gambling husband who died in a car accident.

I read my first JHC novel Knock Knock Who’s there at 9. Since then I’ve loved James Hadley Chase. That guy never ceases to blow my mind!!!

grin grin grin
I have not.
I think fanatic readers may have invented that title given the success of the Mark Girland/Malik novels because I know "Bury him like a Hero" is not on record as a book by James Hardley Chase. It is at best 'Fictitious' as you have said cheesy
But the title is consistent with a typical James Hardley Chase book.

Send me a Pm via mail so I can give you a site.
There is no book written on the face of the earth that you cannot get there (As long as the author is recognized internationally)
Type in the name of the book (must be spelt correctly) on the search bar in the website and the available E-format would come up.
Then you download.

I always prefer the E-pub format because I have an app called supreader installed on my phone where I read with ease.

Pls I will like you to help me with the name of the site sir. I will be very grateful for your candid care sir. Thanks for the consideration in advance. My email is aakinsuwa@gmail.com. Thanks sir.

Nobody has mentioned Mario Puzo

For me, my favorites are

The master storyteller Chinua Achebe

Paul Coelho

Chimamanda Adichie

Mario Puzo.

l used to think nobody does thrillers better than Mario Puzo,. The verdict here is on Hedley Chase.
l will definitely check him out.
