OP, try Standard Chartered Bank, I swear you'll not regret. They don't have much branches though, but they are just the best. No unreasonable charges. No SMS charges. No maintainance fee and other unreasonable charges. I didn't go to their branch before I opened one and ever since I opened it in March, I've been enjoying it.

standard chartered all the way, no sms charges, no maintenance charges,no atm card charges infact no charges at all. and their interest on savings is the highest in the industry . Just open e savers account with them and thank me later.

Opening an account with them is one of the best decisions that I made this year...

Let me stop here before someone calls me a Marketer.. tongue

their only downside is fewer branches, but hey who needs to physically visit a bank when all issues can be resolved online because their customer care is top notch... so less need to physically visit the bank ....

I would say Ecobank, I receive credit alert from them on my savings account despite the fact that I hardly ever use the account.
My most active accounts are in Access bank which I have two accounts there.
I have never ever received any credit alert from Access bank..... Only debit. I was recently debited for the stamp duty charge three times and only credited back twice. I'm still waiting for my N50 balance.
Ecobank rarely debit my account. Me too I have noticed that since ... They don't charge me a dime instead they are the one to credit me... They are the best in terms of saving

Access bank is not as bad as people have painted it to be. moreover, before the incessant deduction of cash from her customers, they already made prior notice. access bank is still cool.
. PLS Tell us, in fact, tell me, whats cool about a bank that deducts money from her customers unnecessarily? Or are U one of their marketers trying to promote/protect their interest?

Done so already, and it has been upgraded. But I still don't get interest on savings. Maybe my deposit isn't that much. Is there a minimum deposit worthy of interest?
