But there are some pretty awful Federal roads the State government will do well to fix. Enugu has had a better than average quality of governance in this 5th Republic but like other one party states it has not benefitted from a viable opposition to shake the tree of development.

Biko all this things that u guys re seeing, d current governor did not build any of it. All of them were done by d past governor. 4get d media hype. Dis man is d worst tin to happen to Enugu

Number one, the poster didn't attribute anything to Ugwuanyi, he only mentioned he drove round Enugu State. Enugu State as it is today is a progressive development from when it was the capital of Eastern region, through to when it was capital of old Anambra State till now. No one administration will lay claim to building Enugu as you may also want people to believe.

I hear Enugu is a peaceful town. I wouldn't mind building a house there and spending my weekends and holidays there. Far away from the hustle and bustle of Lagos.

But honestly, what's here to celebrate?

We celebrate mediocrity too much.

Instead of us to task our governors to do better, we console ourselves with pictures of roads that were built during the first republic.

Not good enough.

If this is all you can show of Enugu state after over 20 years of democracy, then we aren't doing well at all.

Same applies to most states in Nigeria, including my beloved Western States. Ogun state is an eye sore. Some politicians needed to be hanged. I swear. Dimeji Bankole and Gbenga Daniel, including Alao Akala should top the list.

To be honest though, I think Kaduna is not doing too badly though. But more can be done.
