So this is to believe politicians has no other thing in life they can venture to than politics.

Ambode can never get the slot. He is loyal to APC but performed woefully. Failure to follow blueprints and masterplan is an administrative calamity. Igbogbo, Imota, Ijede, Agbara to mile2 and several areas degraded to villages. In a city that is highly congested with daily inflow and outflow of people in Nigeria and African countries running to millions on 24hours basis coupled with Islands, peninsula and flat mainland almost at sea level, you cannot just stop waste management and sanitation systems that was developed for 16 years overnight or replace it without a tested alternative that has higher capacity than the previous legacy system and also highly scalable for expansion within a very short period.

The collapse of waste management and sanitation systems forced people to dump wastes anywhere blocking canals. Almost 90% of the former operators grown over the years are no longer interested and the waste density keeps increasing with population and activities.

Ambode is a good man, but it will take Lagos another 16 years to recover instead of making progress from negligence of Ambode's rule.

I don't know how the power will play it, but I am seeing Ambode on that seat.
