Yes, that is what the defender wanted. I am sure he expected Greenwood to try to square the ball from there and he was prepared to block it. He never expected Greenwood to shoot from such a tight angle and with his supposedly weaker right foot.

What I see is the fact that we have a better attack. Conceding a goal.is no longer a big deal because defence must make mistakes. Even before Bruno came, we always get better results with Rashford and Martial fit together. Now we have Greenwood instead of James. We have Bruno instead of Lingard/Mata. Matic, Pogba and McTominay all back from injuries.

The whole of our defence line are playing exactly as they used to do months back.

You just dey find argument. At some point, I was asking Wan-Bissaka not to go forward, a far cry from the norm...

You can't discount the effort of Wan-Bissaka, Pogba, Martial (Martial fc here) and Matic...They've all been excellent.
