It's terrible my brother. The truth is, many of these politicians have one underlying medical condition or the other which had necessitated periodic medical check ups in foreign hospitals. I know of some who live on implants, ranging from internal pacemakers to pancreatic alternatives due to diabetes. Some need infrared charging of the battery and this can be done overseas. You can imagine covid-19 now striking such people? There's no need to call a soothsayer to predict the ending.

Unfortunately, same people ran our health sector down for selfish reasons. You need to hear how much they spend on medical tourism yearly. Its enough to empower our youths.

Under Abba Kyari, State House Medical Centre budget of over 13bn disappeared. The hospital is situated on less than 2 acres of land. That's the kind of leaders we have in place which many are hailing blindly . Unfortunately, covid-19 is no respecter of politicians.

Unfortunately their brains wont rest. How we always end up with useless leaders who have no vision, i cannot understand it. These things are not rocket science. and the ripple effect on the economy (in the long term) is too clear for all to see. They just want to steal everything for generation unborn. sad

Of course it doesn't but it significantly reduces the likelihood. Compare the life expectancy / expectancy figures in the West to what we have in Africa. I know some of you like to defend these thieving politicians at any cost but please do so with sense.

Some people only learn the hard way, this is a classic example. Build good quality hospitals and schools, pay salaries, lobby for the right laws that will benefit the people, they won't. Now the fruit of their labour is here.
