Travel abroad but not the UK. Avoid the UK by all means. They are only interested in our money. After that, they flush you back home. Do your masters instead in South Africa. After masters, you get work there and live a quality life that UK can't even give you. Thank me later

If you do not like South Africa for their xenophobic tendencies, then pick Ireland. After studying, there are job opportunities. After studying, you can apply for job, green card or resident permit. Also, as a student, you are permitted to work up to 40 hrs per week compared to 20 hours per week in UK. Fvcck UK bro

Read more here if you feel like it

PS; dont build anything in Nigeria yet. It is not worth it

Please do your masters abroad but don't choose UK. No job after you graduate there.

I will advise Canada or Australia. Msc in Germany especially if you're into engineering or IT. Lots of job in IT and engineering field in Germany after graduation.

Canada, Australia, Germany, USA. Leave UK.

That house, you can afford to finish it with a job after you graduate and work abroad, you can also be able to give your children a great privilege of being raised in a sane society that has immense future.

Nigeria is gone!

Travelling at this time of Pandemic. You better use your money to build a house. After Coro is completely clear, you can go there as tourist. Don't just take unnecessary risk .

Land do appreciate over time so...no need to fear since the land's documents are intact....you can always build on the land whenever enough cash enter your account

Better employment opportunities dey yankee

wink

You are not traveling abroad for employment or business but a master degree programme, what will become of you when you are done with your masters and probably no guarantee job waiting for you?

Think very well before you lavish the money on unproductive projects or I will rather advice you use the money on meaningful business where you can generate more money to sort out others things your soul desire.

Please finish your house. There’s nothing in this abroad you want to run to. After your masters, they’d probably give you 2 years to look for a high paying job and the probability of you finding that is very low. After that, they would kick you out of their country

Please don’t listen to anyone who says you should just go to the U.K.

Asin don't come back here again. Cos Nigeria is not getting better. If you can get to top countries in overseas you are ok even as an immigrant.
You chances of success is more in Benin Rep with N5m than Nigeria.
Na so our condition worst reach.
Why am I still in Nigeria?
It's cos I never gather reach to japa.
See what Aunty Shadia is saying here: https://www.nairaland.com/5973324/n-power-109823-beneficiaries-now-business
Only a few % of nPower employee can start up biz with that N30K stipend. Some are even married with kids. No matter how prudent one can be & with this present economy that's injured badly since 2015, there's no way an nPower beneficiary with family responsibility ll gather money to start up a big biz. Except there's an external source of income.
It's an insult to even pay people N30K stipend with the way things are costly.
Talk about a country that love spending lavishly for election campaign & vote buying.
Talk about a country that doesn't invest in well in health, education, agriculture & youth sector.
Talk about a country that doesn't diversify. Only oil, oil, oil!
Talk of a country where the amount earned by legislators, ministers, govs & the president is harshly proportional to the budget of Nigeria as a whole.
That's why people in different ministries too eat money cos the corruption is from the top to the base.

Continue what you were doing that gave you that money in Nigeria.
Most people abroad with masters degree can’t afford to buy land and fence it and even have more money left to build.

Trust me you are doing well by all standards. Find a way do your masters in Nigeria in a less stressful way. Maybe weekends.
Continue to grow your investments and don’t get carried away by those glitters you see on social media from the abroad people.

The major problem with traveling is getting a work permit after your study. You don’t ever want to put yourself in that situation.

You should rather go to Asia or other parts of Europe than going to the UK. That place is already saturated. I have a friend that came back from the UK after his Masters only to be managing his Father's Poultry

Hmm.
A bird in hand is better than two in the Bush. It's obvious you have a chance to live a stable life right here. For some, it's better to go with it than to pursue an uncertain future. I'm a firm believer of establishing here first. Remember, the reason for pursuing education is to boost ones chances of attaining a comfortable or rich living. It seems you've got that already if you can be talking of building a house.

However, life is about risk. There's is a possibility that you going abroad might just boost your chance of becoming way successful than if you stay here. I mean, the system there is very flexible and if you've got someone there, it will go a long way to having a strong foot. You can even work and send money to continue your house.

Op, in the end the choice is yours. I will advise you not to just follow at any advice here. I'm sure that there are so many variables to consider about your situation. Variables which the we don't know. So I'll advise you sit down, and think. The loss and gain of each alternative.

I hope you make the best choice.

"Abroad" that word itself is a scam... it's time we start re-orientating our youths on the reality of Abroad.

Out there is no longer what it used to be, things have changed. your chances of making it abroad is way slim these days.. and even skinny if you are a "Nigerian"(you know the rest)

When One person makes it and comes home... Everybody back home would think it's that simple, forgetting there are millions of Nigerians over there suffering. some are stranded, no papers, homeless and depressed.

All that glitters ain't gold, If you have capital establish yourself back home and keep pushing it step by step, Nigeria is a commercial Mecca that most Nigerians are not even aware of...

legit hustlers have less chances of becoming successful out here. street hustlers may have more chances of making it But then again 95% chances of ending up in prison for the rest of their life... or worse hanged/beheaded if it's a Muslim country.

In conclusion, everything is destiny sha...
