Conti...

To cut long story short. Some passers buy came and then they asked me to appologise to him and beg him I refused, apologise for getting hit? because he's a military man?? No! I won't beg him. More people came saying I should just beg him. Make e no b like say I dey stubborn since everybody is saying the same thing I then decided to beg him but the guy said lie lie say I must buy his long time broken traffigator. Everybody could even see the dust on it that it has long been broken.

I went into my car and then started making calls, before this time a soldier man was driving pass on the other lane towards Ikeja under bridge direction, he stopped and supported his colleague as expected and the both of them were boosting that they'll make me drink the flood water, they will do this and that. All this while I didnt say a word apart from the apology I tendered b4. After his colleague left was when I went into make a call.

The guy has been making calls of all kinds "where una don reach, bla bla bla... Passers bye where trying to tell me to beg him with any miney I've on me or do a transfer of at least 2k to him b4 his guys will come. All of these I saw it as trying to put fear in me but I didn't give in because I knew I wasn't wrong, I told them I'd no money on me apart from N250 which I showed them. Some weak just waka go while some stayed still begging the guy. While I was inside the car he then came to meet me ordering me to step out, I did, he asked who you dey call? I said I dey call my wife to transfer me money me no get 1kobo for me account and I no get cash. Na lie oh I was having nothing less than 10k cash inside d car.

The next thing this guy dragged me that I should follow him, to his car, that I should give him my phone I refused. Then ordered me to seat on the ground I still refused, the next thing na slap twa! I waa about sitting on the ground and I just gain consciousness, na so I provoke started vibrating, shouting, at this point I don vex, spit out the chewing gum I'd been chewing all this while (that was what has been calming me down all those while) before i knew it more people don gather na so we come dey talk go here and there. Soldier man still dey make calls...

Las Las the stupid guy gave me his account number and I did transfer to him. My rider wanted to so the transfer to him but I told him not to worry because I wanted his details which finally did.

I've reported the matter of Twitter tagging the Nigeria army, the Nigeria Senate, @nigeriainfo 99.3fm and some other persons.

If you have anyone you know can help fight this injustice I xan tag pls kindly give me his Twitter handle. I took a short video of the man and his car without him knowing for evidence.

I believe he must have been doing this to innocent civilians all this while but I promise myself this would be his last.
The Zoo called Nigeria. Pathetic!!!

Guy you cancellation rate is high ooh... Lol

Even me wey get 3 cancellations out of 88 uber still sent me a message that my cancellation is high.

So this brings me to a question which has been trying to ask.

How can one avoid cancellation on uber, some requests come with very long distance PU to avoid cancelling can I just avoid the request? What is the detriment of not accepting some request??

Ogas in the house your take please.

Thank you.

On Uber acceptance rate is a mere number... But ur cancelation rate is a very important factor.

During the festive period, due to d fact that I do only surge trips, anytime a request comes in and is not surge or not a surge I want, I don't accept it. For ur info my acceptance rate on Uber has gone below 20% before and I was still getting trips well but my cancellation rate is always below 10%.

So just knw the diff approach for diff company.

NB: Uber frown at higher cancellation rate , dey will block you for ever after 3rd warning

No one reported you. It is just their way of asking you to honour every request even if it requires you damaging your car. Ignore and watch out for accepting requests in the areas you know you can't go to pick up.

Thanks bro for the advice

Mad ooh!!!
I am sorry for what happened between you and the soldier, but i believe he is a recruit. I am not a millitary man but i have worked with a lot of them and most of them are responsible. Most of our recruit are non educated and i believe 60 percent of officers will not act that way.

For those eyeing the moove cars. Its easy to take a car. Paying for it is the issue.

Hypothetical example.
A 2016 corrolla ,say #6,000,000.

Payment- #25,000
50 weeks( in a year)- #1,250,000

4 years 6months.

And I'm sure they have to markup the price to make some profits.

4 years and 6 months of your life paying #25,000 weekly.

With dirt cheap fares....

They have your BVN too.,they will look at your cash flow for d past 6 months, so if you want a brand new car your monthly turnover must be really impressive.

Reason the issue well o.

From my experience, they are all MAD.
Maybe you keep meeting the mad ones. If you meet literate and commissioned officers you'll see the difference. I've had an encounter with a colonel before, he hit my bumper from behind when both of us were trying to make a right turn from a double lane road into a single lane road.
My bumper just press go inside small and his own car get scratches too.
Next thing oga came down and changed it for me, later my rider got to know he was a colonel from their argument, the rider just came to whisper into my ears.. Na colonel o, mumu me, my friend's brother is a major so I no dey too fear soldiers. I told my rider colonel my foot, I'm calling my brother. I quickly called my friend, when my friend heard colonel he said o boy you go let this one slide o lol. I no know say colonel use 2 ranks senior major that time.
In short, in order to save face, I couldn't just walk away because I was hell bent on making him pay for the repair, I just brought out my phone and started recording and narrating how it happened in the video, as I said because we don't know where this case will get to, the colonel just said which case, next thing he just went inside his car and gave me 2k. My rider come ask me whether the money go reach, madam e no reach wetin, abeg make we dey go grin
High ranking officers don't want anything that their enemies at work will use against them, all these senior officers dey get caucus and plenty enemies within, that's why they're always staying away from trouble. If to say na boy boy soldier I for don chop slap too that day

If you have the delivery address, why not go there with a soldier.....or set a female trap for him get his location and take a soldier with you.......

I put a call through and he blocked my line after I narrated my reason for calling.

This is for those that have been blocked by their debtors or if you want to confirm that someone has blocked you, simply hide your number and call that person. It will go through.

Just add #31# before your number and dial the person's number.

Blocking someone on phone is useless, just that people don't know that hiding your number will still get through to the person.

Just ask anyone here for a rental or hire purchase agreement form to give to your prospective drivers, you can at least start from there.

All the requirements and terms would be stated in the agreements, you can tweak it to your specific need.

Do your due diligence and always check here on every step.
