Learning TA starts from the mind. I had to charge myself up mentally to learn it because i needed that flexibility to swerve seamlessly from being an investor to a swing trader and vice versa. This I say i do now effortlessly. Thanks to likes of @rabbidoracle, @currentprice @fxuser @agba and @bbm for the encouragement though.

My dear, you can just go on You Tube to search for videos on Stock Technical Analysis for Beginners . Get a notebook and dedicate at least 30 minutes every other day (though preferably daily) to learn it. Whatever you learn, pause before opening another video and try to internalize it. It sinks best when you now try to put what you have learnt to practice. I will recommend investing.com to you where you can get charts to practice.

If you are committed doing this, honestly you are on your way to being an intermediate trader and then a professional trader if you so wish. The good thing about TA that i have discovered is you get better the more you practice.

Mind you, i am not saying me too i am a guru but i have mastered the fundamental principles of using charts to predict stock movement by knowing when and where to buy (strong support) or sell (resistance), false breakouts, oversold, overbought, pull backs, AOV amongst others.

On the bold part, I apologize for not doing so. But its noted going forward.

Enough said.

More green to your portfolio... grin

Nice one sir
I'm remain a student too
I realise many things cant be thought fully but can only be experienced and through the journey we get better understanding
The tough part is to empty the mind of all bias and see things as they are . this takes time too
the journey changes you indeed
nice one

FBN
- prev RR flips to possible support, dis N5.00 levels

General Mkt

Issues
- recent highs remain below yr highs , thats a technical downtrend continuation
- so if we dont break above in weeks to come this is not good

- keep ur plays short term , rallies get exhausted
- things may either consolidate longer or find its way to previous lows
(lol i know some people here no go mind dat one lol)

if ur in the crypto space , many alts look very very good , take advantage as well

A chartis or TA is just a guy who spots and rides trends mostly for shorter time frames. Nothing extraordinary if u ask me. undecided

One guy is there throwing away his fidelity at 1.73.The funny thing be say once he brings it out at that price,it gets swallowed immediately.

He has shifted to 1.74 and 75.

When fide finally jump to 1.80 today, regret becomes his portion.

Market is strengthening the more generally.
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 11:12am On Jul 08, 2020
Thank God I no longer depend on any one chart to buy or sell like before.

When you learn TA,you see things yourself.

Market is responding well now.Lets make the money as we see it.

If it continues this free fall to Thursday, I may likely move the Fund for trading Jaiz to JB.
Lol.
JB is solid, cant do free fall like Peter's Guinness. To me, getting it cheaper at 15 or thereabout is a plus.

Hope you saw 2m crossdeal at 11 and lots of them within that range?

You don't need a soothsayer to tell you the market is strengthening.

SHARE DILUTION made GUINNESS crashed from their N58 right issue price in 2017 to current price of N14.

SHARE DILUTION that made WAPCO crashed from N42.50k right issue price in 2017 to sub N9:00k

SHARE DILUTION made CILEASING crashed from N8 last yr to N3 and still counting.

Now watch how SHARE DILUTION will crash JULIUS BERGER to sub N10 before any MEANINGFUL CONSOLIDATION will take place..

Still on accumulation mode on GUINNESS

While we are set to enjoy, let's bear in mind that chibuking's bonanza is real.

He only miscalculated it.

We must give alert when bonanza is sighted.one thing is it is sighted in the midst of bull.Very painful to ask one to climb down when he is enjoying and about to release...........

Peter did you factor in various other factors that played out in the crash of those stocks mentioned - guinness, wapco and CI leasing over the period of years in view (2017 to 2020)?

You can't just generalize like that. You need to consider the industry each belongs to and various other things.

JB is a toast of elites and deep pockets of Lagos Island......they have solid backing of men that matters in govt......etc.

Anyway, JB is on full bid...... I'm still watching.... tongue

We see how far the crash can go, shebi Peter said below N10.........seems I'm interested in seeing how this will follow suit with previous share dilution/price crash.
In the meantime, let me carry my JB defense and step aside while watching and learning from the elders...... grin
