Some earlier units of RN9s had their fixed with an update. OnePlus fixed the OP8 Pro with an update too. So I guess sometimes it is not always hardware.

Update can never fix screen bleeding..

It is a suggestion for you to know what is causing your battery drain. Like I said one of the main causes of battery drain is poor network.

If it were MIUI we can easily know from battery chart but that is not obtainable on Android one
