Yeah, I get you.

Of course.
People are, but you don't see them often per se.

Although most Nigerian fans stopped following wrestling as the Attitude Era ended.. for obvious reasons (*cough* PG)

I only know a few people that watch wrestling matches now, most are ladies.

But this is the Undertaker. Many are fans of him, so I feel a lot of people would still watch from here.

that's good to know...I feel many people stopped watching cos they feel they have out grown it..that's the typical naija mentality "I'm too old to do this" I'm too old to watch that" "I don't have time for this and that anymore"

Same with cartoons too and other stuff

NXT results, recap & reactions
Retribution
This week’s main event almost felt like retribution.
Back at the back end of last year, when Keith Lee was at his hottest, he was in a #1 contenders triple threat match with Finn Bálor and Tommaso Ciampa. Lee didn’t just fail to win, but he took the pin. It felt like a shot to his moment at the time. Not one that would keep him down for long, but a speed bump to his ascension.
This week he found himself in a very similar situation. Substitute one former DIY member with another and it was the same match. Keith vs. Finn vs. Johnny Gargano. #1 contender to face Adam Cole for the NXT title.
But this time, there was no doubt it was Keith Lee’s time.
The theme of the match was Keith Lee’s dominance. It was by no means a squash of two men. Johnny and Finn both had their time to shine. But Lee was the focus. He was the one who theothers had to work (sometimes together) to get off his feet.
If there was any doubt they had that last match in mind, they even called back to the moment when Finn was setting up in the corner and Keith ominously rose up behind him. It was such a great moment last December. Why not give it to us again six months later.
Lee’s win was dominant, delivering the Big Bang Catastrophe to both men in very close succession in the end. It was a convincing win that left little doubt that Lee’s a main event man.
In two weeks, we’ll learn if Keith can take it all the way to the top. If this is any indication, it’s his time now more than ever.

Coming Around
When watching Damian Priest battle Cameron Grimes this week, something dawned on me. These are two guys who I just hadn’t been feeling in NXT. They were talented enough but just were not clicking. But then the last few weeks, they’ve started really growing on me.
For Grimes, he’s had more time on the microphone, in the ring and backstage/outside, that really sell how big of a douche this character is. I mean a mega douche right here. His ring work is good, but it needed that character work. He had been getting there with the live crowd, but the loss of that caused a bit of a regression because he had no one to play off. But with more backstage time, he got back on track.
With Priest, he is a rare example of someone actually falling up in a loss. He looked very good against Finn Bálor at In Your House. But the real important aspect was the change of character. He’s not the same man after that loss. If he were, that loss wouldn’t have the impact it currently does. He’s somewhat humbled and more focused.
Mixing these two together worked. Priest played up his injury from TakeOver and from a presumed Grimes attack from earlier in the day, allowing Cameron to focus on being the heel and exploiting his opponent’s weaknesses. It actually led to a win for Grimes, but that loss doesn’t feel like it diminishes Priest. The injuries protected him, as did the fact that Cameron isn’t one to lose a lot.

Robbie Rules
At this point, sign me up to be the president of the Robert Stone fan club.
This man is hilarious. His “Choo choos” when he told Rhea Ripley to hop on the Robert Stone train was one of my favorite moments of the night. He can get his ass kicked, come back for more, and be hilarious every time.
Aliyah is along for the ride and is rather entertaining in her role. Her match with Rhea Ripley was booked perfectly. There was never any doubt that Rhea is ten levels above her. Aliyah could try, Robbie could try to help her, but the Nightmare is just too dominant.
This story rides on next week as both Stone and Aliyah face Rhea. If she loses, she’s got to joint the Robert Stone Brand. High stakes!

Face Your Fears
Roderick Strong cannot get himself right after all that Dexter Lumis has done to him.
It seemed like he faced his fear when he got into the trunk of their car earlier in the night after a trip to the psychologist/Kyle O’Reilly. (Roddy only realizing at the very end that Kyle was the doc was probably the funniest moment of the bit grin grin grin grin..)
However, when Strong had to actually face Lumis later in the night, it was obviously he was nowhere close to conquering his fear. In fact, he ran into the plexiglass trying to escape into the crowd to get away from the menacing Lumis.
This ended in a count out as Roderick wouldn’t get back in the ring, but that won’t be an option next week. William Regal has ordered a strap match between these two men. Roddy better get himself right in the next week.
I’m really curious to where this is headed. It felt like the plan was to get to a Velveteen Dream & Dexter Lumis tag team. But with some more allegations coming out about Dream, that is probably off the table. Hopefully that doesn’t leave Dexter high and dry because he’s doing some really entertaining work right now.

Dominance
Raquel González is dominant.
Big Momma Cool teamed with her HBK in Dakota Kai to take on the KCs Express (Kayden Carter & Kacy Catanzaro). And Raquel dominated.
I appreciate how much they protect her size, especially in a match against two women who are much smaller in stature. González rarely left her feet while the KCs had to get creative to knock her off her game. (And they both looked very good doing so.) It’s a simple pattern, but it’s one that works.
Meanwhile, despite being the focus of the duo, Kai is the smaller talent who does the selling for the team. But she still makes sure to take advantage of her partner’s size to earn herself a submission win.
As these two click, Kai is calling out NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai. Given the streak she’s been on since González joined her, she’s deserving of the opportunity and is my pick to win the fatal 4-way #1 contenders match next week.

All the Rest:
- Santos Escobar defeated Jake Atlas one on one. Joaquin Wilde & Raul Mendoza had a few moments of involvement, but they were not involved in the finish.

- Karrion Kross defeated big Bronson Reed. It wasn’t as much of a squash as I had anticipated. The Thicc Boi used his size to stagger Kross early. But Kross loved it and barreled back to tap Reed with the Kross Jacket.

- Tim Thatcher’s Thatch as Thatch Can lessons continued this week. This is a simple segment, showing Thatcher explain how holds work, how they can fell a bigger man and cause some real pain. It serves to demonstrate how dangerous Thatch can be in the ring. I’d hate to be one of those students though.

Outside the main event, there wasn’t too much of consequence this week. But even the less important stuff was entertaining.

Yeah, I get you.

The typical Nigerian attaches stuff like this to immaturity, sometimes even when they haven't met you.

I heard a reply given by a guy to another guy who criticized wrestling.
He asked how he could call wrestling a "dumb children sport", but could watch 11 men play with a sphere for 90 mins.

Now, I don't support the attachment of choices to the level of one's "maturity".

Just showing you how retardéd that mentality is.

A lot of people hated the fact that wrestling was fake and they couldn't reconcile with the fact that the thing they loved was "not real" so they just dismissed it while some actually just lost interest over time and i can't blame them, wrestling is never-ending and at time a chore to get through.

Raw recap, results and reactions

Bayley and Sasha were the real start to Raw, as the show really began with their presence in the ring.
Bayley said that they’re changing the game one show at a time because they never sleep and when you’re a once-in-a-generation talent like they are, everyone comes after you. They’re going to takeover WWE when they win all the titles. Asuka came out and laughed when Sasha called herself Two Belt Banks and said Bayley isn’t ready for Asuka. Bayley said Sasha is going to humiliate her and she’s ready for anyone and anything, so she asks what Asuka’s got for her? Asuka brings out Kairi Sane!
Sasha and Bayley continued to prove why they are the workhorses of this company right now. And once again, Bayley put Sasha in a predicament. Okay yes, Sasha did it to Bayley last week, but it had been incredibly one-sided up to that point.
Sasha and Kairi put on a clinic, and when Sasha had the potential to lose as Kairi had her in a Boston Crab, Bayley interfered and caused a DQ. Asuka attacked them and went to the outside, and Kairi dived off the turnbuckle and took out the role models.
Later, Asuka and Bayley had their own match, and it was just as good! Nikki Cross was at commentary and was an absolute delight. But when Sasha and Bayley got her riled up, security took her out of ringside. Bayley was in control choking Asuka in the ropes, Asuka returned with a running hip attack which sent Bayley to the floor. Bayley was able to get back into it and had a bottle of water and threw it in Asuka’s face. Suddenly Nikki appeared behind the plexiglass and distracted Bayley and Sasha, Asuka pulled Bayley back in and locked in the Asuka lock. Sasha tried to interfere but Kairi speared her and Asuka won.
I loved everything about Kabuki Warriors and Role Models tonight. They were the highlights of the show when they were on screen. I don’t know if Sasha is going to beat Asuka on Sunday, but I know that if she doesn’t win, more than likely it’ll be because of Bayley. And that just makes me cackle in delight. I am very interested in this one.

Talk more, Claymore
Drew started the show and demanded to know what the stipulation is that Dolph picked for Extreme Rules. Dolph came out and said his stipulation… is a secret! Drew has experience leaving people behind, and out comes Heath Slater! Heath talked up their history together and said that when Drew was fired in 2014, Heath called him and had dinner with him all the time, but he hasn’t heard from Drew in months. He wants what he’s owed, and that’s a match. Drew said he didn’t want to fight him, but Heath slapped him and he got his match.
If anyone thought that this segment made Drew McIntyre a heel, you’re very wrong. What that actually did was remind many of us of a person who we left behind at one point in our lives. That person was left high and dry after they supported us. It wasn’t done with bad intentions, either.
I felt that. Once they came back from break, it got weird. I don’t understand what the point was of Heath in a match at all. He lost in less than 20 seconds and then Drew had to help him when Dolph got in the ring to scold him for losing. Why did Dolph care? He should have been elated that Heath lost because if he won, he’d be in line for a title shot - ya know, the true WWE way.
All of that was so that we’d get to Heath and Drew doing a little 3MB reunion and hugging it out.
So it begs the question, why even book that whole thing? A more creative way of doing things would have been for Heath to cut that same great promo on Drew, Drew to go in for a hug and an apology, Heath doesn’t accept and goes to walk away, but then attacks Drew with Dolph. Heath is aligned with Dolph, and at Extreme Rules, he’s in Dolph’s corner. Suddenly just as Dolph is about to win, Heath turncoats and it’s revealed he was always on Drew’s side and they made a plan to screw Dolph. Dolph loses, and we get that 3MB reunion to close the pay-per-view. This way, no one looks stupid, and Heath doesn’t get humiliated.
Easy peasy! Now, I’m still not enthused about Drew and Dolph on Sunday, and they had to humiliate Heath in the process.

Eye for an eye
During the KO show, Owens offered a gift to Seth to commemorate their epic Wrestlemania match together - Owens’ shirt from WWE Shop that he wore in the match. Seth didn’t care and wanted to address Rey Mysterio. He will challenge Rey to a match at Extreme Rules. He told Owens that he should choose to fight with him because he’s been fighting so long and so hard, he’s gotta be tired, and maybe he needs a purpose. Rey and Dominick came out and Rey said he accepts the challenge, and Owens said that he’ll fight in place of Aleister tonight. The winning team should pick the stipulation for their match, and Seth agreed to it.
Three times in one hour WWE made someone look stupid. Can we not get to where we want to go more creatively? First it was Dolph and Heath, now KO. What was the point of a KO show for a silly joke promo out of Owens and make him the tag partner for Mysterio? Have Seth come out and play preacher, Rey and Dom come out like they did, then a surprise Owens shows up and saw what happened in the back and wants to punish Seth and Murphy. This is too easy sometimes! How am I coming up with this stuff and people getting paid to aren’t? angry angry
The match was fine, and actually had a very neat ending. Aleister came out and Seth begged him to hit him so that he could win and choose the stipulation. While Seth and the referee were distracted by that, Dom, to pay back Seth for raking his eyes earlier, raked Murphy’s eyes and that allowed Rey to pin Murphy and pick the stipulation. That stipulation? An… eye for an eye match? I can’t say I disagree with Rey’s reasoning, but why risk having your other eye taken out? There are a dozen stipulations you can pick to make sure you do serious harm to your opponent. I don’t see this ending well for Rey, unless there is a massive amount of interfering.

The Rest
New Red, White, and Blue - Well, well, well. MVP and Lashley came out after saying that they would discuss the future of the United States title. MVP said Apollo Crews’ light burned bright but he’s burned out. He’s full of youthful exuberance and thought himself invincible, but no one is invincible when it comes to Bobby Lashley’s Full Nelson. Already having beaten Apollo, he deemed himself the new US champion already, and unveiled a brand new US title!
Ricochet and Cedric came out and said that Apollo will be back soon and it’s time to end the US title fantasy of MVP’s. So naturally that means tag team match! Ricochet was tossed around as usual, and sold his ass off as usual. When Cedric tagged in, he took out Lashley so he could target MVP and almost won it with a tornado DDT, but Lashley got the tag and speared the hell out of Cedric for the win. Lashley locked in a courtesy Full Nelson for Cedric’s troubles and Ricochet made the save.
I’m digging RicoRic defending Apollo Crews. Not often do people shown as friends on TV help each other out during matches, or defend the honor of their friends, and it’s great to see WWE gave them the spot on TV for the past few weeks. Losing… not a big fan of that. I’m excited to see what happens between MVP and Apollo on Sunday. I hope to see RicoRic in Apollo’s corner to keep up the continuity. You can’t leave anyone alone with Lashley stalking the ring grin..

RKO, Andrade, and Angel Garza def. Big Show and the Viking Raiders - There was some dumb crap backstage between the faces where Big Show had to hulk up the Raiders by weak chopping them. Randy said he respected Garza and Andrade for also being 3rd generation wrestlers. In the match, what was really cool was Orton with Garza. Garza and Andrade bickered again, and Orton wasn’t having any of it. While Andrade was the legal man, Orton grabbed Garza by the throat and told him to pull his head out of his ass. Very leader like cool cool.. Show got the hot tag and was about to chokeslam Andrade and Orton tried an RKO but Show side stepped, Erik and Orton tag in and while Andrade blocked the Viking Experience, Orton hit Erik with an RKO to win.
Really cool match between the six men. Orton is doing his damn best work right now, and the way he approached Andrade and Garza, respecting them as 3rd generation like himself, made me really want to see a Legacy 2.0 between them for a while. I didn’t give a shit about the faces in this match as I don’t care about Show, and the Viking Raiders have been reduced to nothing after that ridiculous feud with the Street Profits. I mean the Street Profits have been reduced to nothing too, so… whatever.

Billie Kay def. Ruby Riott - This match did literally nothing for Ruby in defeat. In fact, nothing WWE has been doing with her as of late is to her benefit. One former Riott Squad member gets fired, and they mismanage the hell out of the other two. What will it take for them to smarten up and take Ruby and Liv seriously? If you need to know who’s the better singles wrestler between the IIconics, look no further. It’s Peyton. Sorry, Billie.

Raw had ups and downs but most of the matches delivered. The weakest points were some of the segments between matches. Dolph ruined the opening segment and match for me, just being an absolute doofus. I really would have liked to see more of serious Heath Slater in WWE. The handling of Ruby and lack of Liv is very frustrating. The tag scene is pretty absent on Raw. Other than that, Orton, Garza, Andrade were a fun pairing I want more of, and I’m really interested to see how MVP and Apollo and the Role Models do at Extreme Rules for the Raw side of things

Smackdown results, reviews and reactions

With each week, I am sickened by how WWE takes substance addiction and turns it into a complete joke on this show.
There is no good reason why any of this is necessary. All this is, is a lame attempt at storytelling. Sheamus and Jeff Hardy are talented enough to not have to make a mockery of Jeff’s addiction for a stupid angle you’d see half acted well on a soap opera.
This reminds me of someone’s shoot interview where they said that Vince treats WWE as his own movie and television entertainment, and that he doesn’t watch anything but his shows. It shows.
Any line about how Jeff promises his fans he won’t be caving to his addiction would only look incredibly shitty if it actually happens, and I pray that it doesn’t.
And if it does, won’t WWE be at least partially to blame?
So now there’s going to be a “Bar Fight” at the Horror Show that is WWE. A BAR fight! Get it? Because Jeff has to overcome Sheamus AND alcohol! HAHAHAHA!
This is foolish and insulting to those actually suffering through addiction, and I’m honestly shocked at how Jeff hasn’t squashed this angle. I’m equally not shocked at how insensitive Vince McMahon is.
God help me if Jeff Hardy doesn’t win next Sunday. Although, as WWE has shown us before, that could potentially not matter because even if Sheamus loses, he could just attack Jeff after the match and continue the feud.

Delayed Gratification
Cesaro and Shinsuke Nakamura were interviewed about the tag title match.
Cesaro scoffed at the idea that beating New Day is an upset, because they’ve never lost against the New Day. Cesaro said he’s been sick of New Day for a long time, and tonight that’s gonna change.
At one point in the match, Cesaro hit a naaasty uppercut and Kofi sold it like a damn champ. Kofi countered the inverted exploder into an SOS but fell to a Kinshasa as he worked over Cesaro. But the match broke down and the ref rang the bell, presumably calling a draw. Cesaro set up a table in the ring and powerbombed Kofi onto Big E and they crashed through the table. So, I was hyped for this match and was looking forward to it after this shit show, and then we got a draw or whatever this was. More than likely, this will lead to the rematch at Extreme Rules. Just a teaser for tonight I guess. Like… sure okay. But why do this match now? The backstage segments could have just been in ring promos. This was not a great way to end this show. All this really was was a time waster. Most of this show was a time waster.

Bayley and Sasha Banks def. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross - It was nice to get a segment in that didn’t make me want to pull my hair out. I consistently like Nikki Cross and Sasha and Bayley’s booking. I did also like a deviation from the norm, not having Sasha and Bayley cut a promo. Cross hit a wicked crossbody from the announce table to Bayley on the outside. Really enjoyed the Role Models isolating Bliss from Cross, showing that they take her as a threat. Cross with a beautiful fisherman’s neckbreaker but Banks broke it up, and Bayley took advantage. This was really the only good part of this show.
I’m really excited for Bayley and Nikki Cross at Extreme Rules. I have enjoyed both pairings of the Role Models and Bliss Cross Applesauce so much. Cross has been such a delight in the empty arena era that I would like to see her rewarded for it. As for the Sasha and Bayley, I’d hate to see them separated right now. But I know that they’ll absolutely kill a program together. I’m so torn!

AJ Styles vs. Matt Riddle next week - The allegations against Matt Riddle have not slowed down his big push. A month into his main roster run, Riddle will be facing Styles for the IC title next Friday. There is a pay-per-view that Sunday, so it’s a bit strange as to why they aren’t waiting two more days. They did the same with Styles and Bryan. I enjoyed styles and Riddle round one, so I’m not expecting anything different for round two. I just wonder how they’ll keep both strong.

Karaoke Contest and whatever - Singing happened. Naomi won. Lacey Evans turned heel because she lost. Lacey, Naomi, Dana, and Tamina were on TV a few weeks ago backstage and were upset that they hadn’t been featured on TV. Well, here you go!

Replay of Braun Strowman vs. Bray Wyatt from Money in the Bank - There was really no need for this. Most of the time on this show was wasted and is better watched in YouTube clips.

This was the worst SmackDown in a long time. Total time waster and full of stupidity. This show is totally skippable. Give WWE some YouTube clicks. Or don’t

Or don’t

Smackdown was so bad I nearly smote myself.

I might have to take a long break from smackdown and focus on Raw and NXT

Raw results, reviews and reactions
Rollins finally figured out that eye for an eye meant eye for an eye literally.
He talked about how he’s just trying to lead Raw to a brighter future but Rey Mysterio has been in his way every step of the way. Then Kevin Owens came out and said he expected Rey to pick a Last Man Standing or a Steel Cage Match, but Seth is such a scumbag that he can make a man as respected and genuinely very nice as Rey Mysterio come to the point where he wants to gouge his eyes out. I loved this line. Also he name dropped PCO!
So this was one of Seth’s best promos since turning heel. I’ll admit that his promos at times have sounded repetitive, but on this show he brought us back to the origins of this character. It’s the WWE Universe that made him who he is, and Rey will not sacrifice himself for the greater good. I really liked that Seth brought up the origin of why he became the Messiah.
Murphy came out to attack Owens but Aleister Black, the white knight of Raw, attacked him and we got a commercial. They fought for the 10th time or so and I’m not going into it because it’s nothing we haven’t seen before. There’s a DQ finish because of course.
Then we got to the meat. Owens and Rollins had a hard fought match with Aleister, Rey and Dom Mysterio on the outside and no Murphy to help out Seth. Owens won via Stunner.
The key difference between a heel advantage around the ring and a babyface advantage around the ring, is that the babyfaces, like in this case, do not tend to interfere and take cheap shots while the ref isn’t looking and help the babyface cheat to win. It does happen sometimes with babyfaces, but that’s usually in grudge matches or when the heel has been so dastardly that it warrants cheating to win. Truthfully I like my babyfaces to not be 100% honorable.

I am hoping that the Eye for an Eye match is fun and not a contrived mess. Figuratively and literally.

Sasha’s the real MVP
This main event was such a great way to end the night.
Sasha and Asuka really gave us a taste of what’s to come on Sunday. The Kabuki Warriors did a double hip attack to the role models and really brought it to them.
The last few minutes were super smooth and looked legitimately painful. Sane did one of the greatest elbow dives I’ve seen and almost won it if not for evil Bayley pulling her out of the ring. Sane then connected with a great Alabama slam and Sasha counters with a vicious looking bank statement for the win.
I love that Sasha was the workhorse in this match and got the win for the team. It sets the stage for if WWE pulls off a hopeful face turn with her while Bayley stays heel. It seems like Sasha was always the real workhorse of the team though, and she was especially the woman who was always being put in matches for her best friend.
I am so incredibly hyped to see Sasha vs. Asuka on Sunday as well as Bayley vs. Nikki Cross. Like I’ve been saying, I’m so torn on whether they pull the plug on the role models and have them feud to a big Summerslam match, or ride this train for a while. I know some people are tired of seeing them around constantly but I am not. I absolutely love it. It led to Bayley’s best run on the main roster.

Much needed intimidation
Dolph was a guest on MVP’s VIP Lounge to start the show.
He and MVP continued to run down Drew’s lack of being grateful for his friends shtick.
Drew interrupted and said that this Sunday he’s going to hurt Dolph. He realized what their arrangement really was before he got big in his second run in WWE. Dolph used him for his own benefit. He’s going to make sure he regrets bringing him to Raw in the first place.
He then decked Dolph and hopped out of the ring. Legend.
This is the Drew McIntryre I know and love. Direct, no nonsense, and intimidating. Up to this point, I was not remotely interested in Drew vs. Dolph at Extreme Rules. This time he called what the pairing between them was - a business arrangement. Drew was always there to be the bodyguard, and it was great to see him point that out. If Drew had this fire under him each week, I would have had a totally different outlook. Dolph did his part well here. He’s pretty good at being delusional.
Now I am invested and ready to see these two go at it. Dolph isn’t winning though, and that should be obvious. The only thing that could be worrisome on Sunday is the secret stipulation up Dolph’s sleeve. Crossing my fingers for a good one!

The Rest

Angel Garza and Andrade def. Viking Raiders - Before the match the four teams were in the back with Charly Caruso and the only thing of note here was that Ivar’s… charm wooed Charly away from Garza for a change. Garza was not happy about it! One of the best things about this whole match was Zelina on the outside. Her reactions make these matches so much better. Already in the beginning there was tension between Garza and Andrade but once the match went on, they got into a groove. Erik didn’t get much offense in before he was eliminated first.
When Garza and Andrade were busy getting on the same page, Ivar dove onto them. Andrade actually ended up saving Garza twice before getting eliminated. Garza fought for Charly’s honor and got the win for his team. Now I like the Street Profits but I think they need to get more serious and be the chasers. They have been doing the tension between Garza and Andrade but they need to get on the real same page and become tag champs. Though I think the most likely scenario is the dissension overcomes them and they break up.
By the way, last week when I mentioned a new Legacy with Orton, Andrade, and Garza, in no way did I mean Zelina should be out of the picture! I would have loved to see Orton and Zelina interactions and maybe an angle down the line where Zelina sees that Orton is too evil for her men and tries to convince them to break off from him.

Ruby Riott and Bianca Belair def. IIconics - BIANCA BELAIR! IT’S ABOUT TIME! Ruby reintroduced her back to Raw and best know that you never want to mess with the EST of WWE. I would absolutely love to see these two as a tag team and have Liv focus more on a singles run. This was a quick one but got Bianca back on TV and wrestling, which is what we all need in our lives.

Bobby Lashley def. Ricochet - A one sided match with Ricochet getting tossed around. The standard Ricochet match. I watched his documentary on the Network yesterday and was very inspired by it. I highly recommend! I do find it kind of funny though that WWE has been pushing it on TV and having him on TV in matches, and he hasn’t won a singles match in months.

Shayna Baszler interrupted Akira Tozawa vs. R-Truth - Tozawa and Truth were going to face off but Shayna came out and fought off the ninjas as Tozawa peaced out. What I wanted to happen next was Shayna putting Truth to sleep and winning the 24/7 title but alas. Instead, Shayna told us that she was through letting the women run around and have fun. Everyone is under the delusion that they’re in control, but she’s back to hit them all with a hard dose of reality.
Again, it was a perfect way to get Shayna as dominant by grabbing that 24/7 title but whatever. I’m happy to see her back after her dropping off the face of the Earth. Start/stop pushes are one of my biggest pet peeves with Vince McMahon. Stop booking for yourself, guy.

Randy Orton def. R-Truth - This lasted all of 10 seconds. The bigger point here is WWE’s trash booking of the 24/7 title. Twice tonight people have completely ignored the fact that R-Truth is a champion with a title that you just need to pin him for. Anytime. Anywhere. Neither took advantage. I just don’t get it. The title has been a joke since debuting, but it’d be nice to at least have consistency in booking. Consistent booking is just too hard sometimes, though.

With Extreme Rules this Sunday, as I said I’m mostly intrigued for the women’s title matches. Orton continued to be wonderful and I really liked Ric Flair trying to talk Big Show into retirement. I also still hate that Ric Flair is continually being trotted out at this time but WWE isn’t listening to any pleas to take him off TV. This show was way better than SmackDown!
