A Facebook user by name Chimelum ajanma has come under heavy fire for killing a beautiful white owl and posting it on Facebook on suspicion that it might be a witch sent to him in his church. his actions however generated lots of criticism by various Facebook users who accused him of being ignorant and superstitious all because of his religious beliefs..

Nigerians, indeed Black generally are bunch of disgustingly superstitious beings. The more reason some funny human beings will develop a foolish thought that an innocent little girl or a feeble old woman is the reason behind the backwardness of their lazy @rsse. Instances abound of little children or old women tortured to death on account of witchcraft.

How can a human being with brain start thinking a bird searching for food or comfort is the cause of his pathetic life? I always shake my head whenever I hear these damn stories.

Annoyingly, with all these superstitions, we still depend on sciences for for upgrading our historic practices such as farming. 95% percent of the clowns that believe in this stupid existence of supernatural beings in form of human or animals are always wretched and pathetic.

I'd chase it away than kill the owl. Owls make annoying sounds at night and most midnights they march on your roof as giants. You hardly sleep at night if an owl has its nest around your house. The one that used my roof as its nest flew away forever at daytime after serious fighting, pouring of hot water and multiple landing of stick on its head from an angle that I can easily fall off from the building. According to the guy, African Juju is why we are still backwards. Almost everybody in this country that happens to be super religious just don't want to have sense, imagine claiming a cat is evil and trying to PHYSICALLY kill it (why don't you just pray it dead btw, like wtf) and still being first in line to eat cat meat if it lands because you suddenly forget that it was evil a few minutes ago.

I saw one of this as a corper in sokoto. The locals were scared to death. They called this owl "MURJIA" saying it was evil and dangerous, even the educated ones. I just picked it up from the floor were it had fallen. On my way home ,I was looked at as some magician,alien, ghost and everything supernatural because I was trying to save a dying bird. My neighbours were skeptical of me. The security man's wife said the owl's cry could kill her baby and so therefore the bird wasn't welcome in the compound. I paid no attention to her . I took the bird in and kept it in a carton kept water for it but unfortunately I couldn't get flesh for it to eat , so , the next morning after arguing with all my neighbours I decided to keep it in the bush though it's feather was broken. I regret not keeping it but there wasn't a thing I could do. All my neighbours were against it both the Christians and Muslims.
