•I didn’t bother to wait for any SMS....went there for passport collection 2weeks after capturing

•For NIN registration, be sure to be there as early as 6am to get a slot...people who got there later than 6:30am were told to leave as at the day I went for passport renewal. I had my NIN about a year ago though.

•Let me remind you again to DIY.

From Ogba ->> Ikeja ->> Obalende. It's not far from the Obalende under bridge (walk as though you're heading towards Forte Oil) and is about 5-10 minutes walking distance from there.

Yes.....The enrollment center at Ikoyi passport office I suppose....you can visit the website & place a call for further confirmation.

Please gurus in the house, is standard ePassport same as the enhanced passport because that is the only option to choose on their website, and its 25k.

for minor you don't need Guarantors form, you need parent's letter of consent. From your husband and yourself.

I went there few days before my interview date for filing & was allowed to capture. However, I discovered some people were told to come back on the interview date.

Maybe because my interview date was only two days away...or perhaps because I got to the venue early, maybe luck; I can’t say for sure. I told a guy I met there to beg them to allow him capture & the officer insisted that he must come back on the interview date.

I'm currently at the NIS HQ, Sauka, Abuja. I must say the process here is pretty seamless. Got here around 11.40am. I forgot to stamp my guarantor's form before getting here. Luckily, there is a court within the premises and I was attended to in 3 minutes after paying N700.

I proceeded to the passport application processing office. You are requested to generate an electronic ticket yourself before stepping into the waiting room. Your ticket number will appear on an electronic board in front of the counter when it is your turn. There are about 12 or more counters and it took less than 8 minutes before I was attended to.

Altogether, I spent less than 30 minutes because there are not many applicants today.

I'm impressed with the process. I was told my PP will be ready on 22nd of July 2020. That's just 7 work days from today.

Better times are here.

PS: I didnt wait for my interview date which was slated for 22nd July 2022 anyway. I guess it was a system error. Just go with all the required documents and you will be attended to.

We (myself and wifey) were at Ikoyi Passport Office today. Got there around few minutes to 9am, proceeded for NIN change of name and also went to servicom straight as advised here.

Finished with NIN change of name around 1pm, much crowd in NIMC compared to Passport processing. After collecting tracking number for the new NIN slip to be issued, we were told that until after 24 - 72 hours before the slip will be ready, I was like , the flimpsy excuse was that it's because we are doing modification and not new application. So that's how we couldn't capture today..... I have done all servicom ask us to do, photocopied the form given already and filled.


So for guys that went there recently, please do they still ask applicant to wait for SMS to come for capture or its done same day? Though i heard one of the servicom guys told a guy after setting up his file to go for capturing, but not sure..... Was so disorganized when we were told we won't get for NIN slip to proceed.

Lest I forget, there is an immigration officer there called Oodo, Can't remember his initials, this man keeps terrorising people, at least i can count 5 ppl he harrassed with his over sabi, u can try avoid him as much as u can.
