What is important i believe is how they will formulate domain transfer and payout.


Compare Dan with epik;
*Both have crypto payout
*Both 9% commission
* Epik provides payment with AMEX

But to me Dan is still beating Epik because;
*They have various escrow accounts across different registrars, which facilitates domain transfer without much communication with both buyer and seller.

*Can send lead, making commission 5%, and infact it looks more professional, and you will gain buyer's trust.

*You don't have to open account, unlike Epik. I have a pending sale on a domain Registered at epik, i asked buyer to open a free account but he said "I can't go through that trouble of opening a new account".

*Some things are automatically designed with Dan, those that sell dynadot registered domains recently will experience that!


So it's not just about commission. It's more of buyer-seller experience. To me, that's what counts the most!

Crypto payment option is a feature every serious domain marketplace should start offering.

Payoneer and Paypal only isn't enough in my opinion. But at the rate which SH is introducing new features, i hope they introduce crypto payments soon. Especially when you consider the recent Payoneer scare.

Regarding your domain with Epik, registering a domain on Epik doesn't mean you must sell the name only on Epik marketplace. You can still list the domain for sale on Dan... or you don't want to do that?

Selling at Dan, means he will still have to open an account with Epik

Buyer had to make sure he will receive domain at his preferred registrar, so I explained to him it will take 57days (then domain was 3days), he assured if he can get it at his registry then he will pay. He won't open an account.

Finding end users for this type of name would be hard. Perhaps try to submit on SH, if its rejected, list it for sale on Afternic, Dan, Sedo and set a good BIN.
