It really depends on you, which are you most comfortable with? Do you prefer writing on paper or a computer?

I believe with there are little differences between the both. One of which is the time you have after the listening test. Check IELTS Liz to read up more differences on both.

Well most people say MOD is more lenient in writing which is considered to be the toughest part of the test.

Hello everyone. I also received the test cancelation mail from the British Council. I will like to find out if IDP is currently conducting IELTS examination, so that I can process to register with them.

1. I have someone that did on 13th of June.
2. The safety measures were topnotch that you would think it is clearance to enter God's room in Heaven in term of hygienic and spacing. The manner they used sanitizer is just too excessive and provision was made to compulsorily wash hands under running water.
3. You don't have to wear headphone if you don't like, but headphone is provided for all. I trust you won't want to risk your test by not wearing it.
4. You can go with writing materials, but they also provided.

MOD (and BC) is a body coordinating IELTS exam.

Difference?

IELTS is the exam.
MOD coordinate, organise and monitors the exam.

You don't have to be depressed. Celebrate your small wins. You really try for getting such scores with 2 days practise and no detailed practice for speaking and writing.

Over confidence killed me but I think I will have to request for a remark. Although, I only studied on YouTube for two days. I thought I spent all my life speaking English. I only practiced the listening on YouTube. I did close to 15 examples within two days. I never did writing...that is my strong point ! I always write things so ? Speaking is my hubby so I never ever practiced that. I did two readings online and I felt comfortable so within just two days, I went for the exam. However, I presently need 7 all round. My result came yesterday. I wasn't even expecting to have problem with writing but I was shocked. LRWS is 7.5, 8.5, 6.5, 7.5. With that writing, the whole show is spoilt but I felt that was my strong point. I want to know...what are my chances with re marking? I know I am a good writer but I am scared maybe there is a specific format they use that I don't know about since I didn't even write a single article before the exam. I just read the question type. I am suspecting task 1. I definitely shouldn't have problem with task 2

@chigrad, I had my test last weekend and I'm impressed by the topnotch sanitation and social distancing observed in the organization of the test. Each time anyone stands from a seat, uses the toilet, uses a general pen, etc they sanitize
