Guys, please am i suppose to request for a new I-20 from my school?
I got one in May this year for fall.

With today's surrender of the Trump administration and ICE reverting back to March exemptions, schools can now go fully online if they wish hence there will be no need for a new i-20.

If you can get an appointment at the embassy, you can use your already issued i-20.

DT ploy to force schools to reopen failed, the game continues

This is not quite the case. The rule modification only apply to returning students.

This is the immigration lawyer that I got the explanation from. The judge that delivered the news said "ICE will go back to status quo" which means how things were before the 6th July directive

Is havard planning to bring in New international students to the US for the online classes?

Thanks.

Do you know what the critical info are? Does it have to do with name, age, address, sponsor...?

MY own suggestion is that filling another DS-160 is a great problem because since the Agent can't just really trace the previous information again.

Don't you know that VO will first scan his/her passport and DS-160 bar-code to generate whatever information attached to them. What if the previous information of the 3 years ago application form just shows up and he has filled another information now

I understand and I'm not contending that. Just curious to know what disparity the VO could be looking out for, especially in this case where he can't get any vital info from the agent. I suppose some key profile like full name, age, academic background etc... cant be messed with

Can one open and the other be closed?
If the embassy opens would the consulate open too?

I'm about filling DS-160 and I'm confused on which location to choose

were you able to pick 4th November because I couldn’t.

When i booked , like 1 month ago, Nov 4th was no longer available, the earliest date then was Nov 23rd...though i think if they re-open, people should be able to reschedule.

The Agent too can not really say. So if he fills new DS-160 VO will still see the previous DS-160 he filled in 3 years ago.

I wouldn't recommend taking a lawyer's advice on this issue until ICE releases the official guidelines.

ZionSpecie - I think the best way forward is to fill another DS-160 with the true information and on the interview date you can sincerely make reference to the earlier interview, that you used an agent and feel he had filled some information wrongly at that time and this time you had to fill it on your own with the true and accurate information. I might be wrong but looks like the way forward is to open up to them and show that utmost sincerity and hope for the best outcome.

Sending usd from US to Nigeria naira account is about 380/$ on World remit and transferwise. Even naira cards charge about 390 for international transaction.

Why do you now want to charge 415?

I totally agree with this. The consular officer that did the Facebook live event a few weeks ago kept stressing that all he wants is honesty and sincerity- he's noticed a lot of visa applicants "overprepare" and emphasize things that he's not interested in (but they think he's interested in).

You have to fill the form again. A fresh one. You will not be interviewed without a confirmation page with a passport photograph. Fill a fresh one and when you reach the stage to upload the picture, DM me with the image you have. I will help you edit it to the required size.

Ok Bro, thank you so much.

technically I will have two forms on their system? Or will the new one replace the previous one?

You just said sending from $ to ₦. Try getting $ at that rate with your ₦ account, that's when you will see the problem.

Why though, Abuja is the only one that's still showing interview dates at all even though it's in November. Lagos interview dates are "barren", lol. Anyway I think as long as you haven't linked your visa fee payment to the DS-160 you already filled, should be able to start over. I'm not sure though.
