Good Morning, Please i have some questions and i will appreciate an answer from you as a lot depends on what decisions i take as i am going to my intending sponsor this coming weekend and i want to give him a comprehensive lowdown of facts.

1) I have a GPA of 3.15 Geology and want to apply to MUN for MBA, He is ready to sponsor me through it all, please what are my chances.

I read i need to write Gmat exams, please can you avail me with possible materials or links, i can prepare in short notice.

If i can't get MBA can i switch to Engineering as i don't want to go ahead with the very limited geology.

Thank You in anticipation.

Is your GPA on a 4.0scale?

Minimum GPA for Masters in MUN 'should be' 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

You are currently in the eligibility stage where they go through your admission letter ,sop proving if you are genuinely eligible to be consider a student going for studies, acct statements and supporting documents to decide if you are eligible. if you are found worthy , you will get a medical request. So pray

Thanks for this.

But, ain’t they doing the two (eligibility stage and background check)simultaneously ?

I can see that the background check is reading “we are processing your background check”

Your cgpa is low for Masters program

You should look up post graduate diploma programs instead.

Most times , its done one after the other .. Its on very very few occasions that it happens to be done simultaneously.

They are basically checking if you have a travel history ,criminal history both here and abroad .. That doesn't take much time .

Good day my people! Please I need help as regards transcript issue.

Saskploy granted me a conditional admission for the spring semester as I couldn't provide my transcript as universities are locked down.

Now I want to apply for the study visa and the transcript is a required document, please my people, what do I do as I can't bully my school into giving me transcripts for my visa application.

Please help.

Hello house, hope you guys are having a great weekend. Please I need an expert response to my questions, your help would be appreciated;

I graduated with Bsc. Chemistry in 2012 in Nigeria and I've been working as Retail Store Manager and a part time realtor for a credible company for about 6 years now. I got an admission for a PGD in Project Management in Ontario, what are my odds securing a study permit?

Also, as a result of COVID19 situation, how are applications been submitted in Lagos? Online or is the VSF in Lagos taking Canadian study permit applications?

Can an expert help please, thanks in Advance. Cheers!

I don't think their vsf offices are open either in Lagos or abuja at the moment cos,I' looking forward to visiting once they open

I'm also seeing the same message that we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements and also background check.

Would it be possible to get medical request without the biometrics ?

Someone said you cant bully IRCC into approval grin I laugh in Chinese.

Those of you that applied for this fall, you submitted the right documents, your documents are genuine and don't have any criminal records, watch how approval in principle rain will fall on you.

P.s Each individual should do as the spirit leads.

God bless Canada

Are you saying, CIC will approve the application of everyone that submit the right documents and have no criminal record. Whatever "submit the right documents" mean.

Next time, please quote me. I won't bite.

My advice is simple and clear. Don't pay tuition and start attending classes when you don't have visa. I like to think of this advice as a very simple and basic one. Anyone doing otherwise will be taking a very expensive risk.

No be my papa money, and I no be VO...but I am sure we will see these cases very soon. I will be here.

IRCC were very clear in their directives, I guess you know more than IRCC? If you have issues with IRCC, take it up with them.

Yes, fall students should take advantage of this moment. You don't need to agree with what I said as it is just an opinion.

for the bolded in your post, I guess I should say same for your initial post when you stylishly replied without quoting me?

My opinion is not up for unnecessary argument. Take it or leave it.

P.s You seem to be getting a bit hyper these days. I do hope Newfoundland is treating you well. Do have a good one.

Hello people,

I just received a new admission letter from my school deferring my admission to January. Having submitted my application since March, do I need to send the new letter to IRCC or I should just wait to get a final decision before informing them?

Many thanks in advance.

Nothing I have said contradicts the instruction from IRCC, so I don't know where the above bolded is coming from.

IRCC want to help students start their program as soon as possible, but that won't bring the approval rate up by 50% for Nigerian applicants. They will still use whatever metrics they use to decide applicant's fate. I share the opinion that it will be easier to get visa approval now more than ever (I have said this before), but starting your program online without the first stage approval will be very expensive.

Newfoundland is good but I moved out of there already. The pandemic is taking a toll on us all, so I apologise if I came across as offensive.

You adjusted your argument...
Your former stance made it seem like a totally bad idea until final approval is in hand.

Anyway I totally understand your initial standpoint and it's good advise except for those of us with funding or attending low tuition schools like MUN...

We can disagree to agree bro, no worries atall.

You are spot on with the program being expensive without the initial approval.

I wish all the applicants well.

It will be silly to not start one's program when you have the initial approval as in my 4 years of being on this thread, I haven't seen anyone denied because of failed medicals. An initial approval is as good as a final approval; my earlier post may not have been crystal clear on that but I didn't adjust my argument.

Please note that it's not cumpulsory to attach your university transcript for your study permit. You can attach your certificate instead, People have gotten approval without attaching their transcript.
