Hmm this is weird o, cos I use the Camon 12 air and my experience has been cool so far, as at now I have 26 tabs open on chrome and my browsing has been smooth so far, nevertheless if your phone is lagging try using your phone master app to clear cache and junk files.

Your ordeal isn't news. Those who settle for transsion devices do so solely due to limited funds. If they had more, transsion phones won't pull at all in the tech market.

You valid bro...without them, many won't be proud owners of smartphones

those who have questions regarding infinix or tecno should google and research for themselves. for example i was able to find the site below after googling "are infinix phones sold in China"

https://mobilityarena.com/infinix-mobile-phones/

I've been using Camon 12 pro since January this year. This is the sweetest phone I've ever used.

The performance is sleek, fast and smooth. Camera is top notch, and can run numerous heavy apps without lagging.

Whenever an app dares lag, it is always from the app.. After an app update, I discover that it solves the problem.

So, I don't know where you bought the Camon 12 pro you're using. Perhaps you bought Aba made.

Seriously, I doubt your claim!

Many people buy transsion devices not because they want to but because it's what they can afford. Imagine buying a Samsung phone of 4GB/64GB @ 70k and Transition device of the same spec is selling at 45k they will go for the cheaper one.

that was in the past but now even Samsung better mid rangers are now more cheaper.

for example with 65k - 70k i can get a clean galaxy a50 which is better than all transsion phones dead or alive

App updates doesn't do shii if no bugs were acknowledged.
Cos my friend with a camon 12 pro played BIA, boy the frame drops were damn obvious even to the untrained eye.
Unless your apps include SM and casual games like candy crush or word cookies (which doesn't count in my case), I won't believe you.

Do you guys know that there are BETTER and CHEAPER devices than transsion phones? Cos the word "affordable" is what is clouding people's judgement.

Ok it'll be brief.

my Samsung galaxy note 9 screen got blank so I went to the local shop to get the replacement but the price was outrageous so I decided to order on ebay since i got it way cheaper so I placed my order.

but since I can't stay without my phone I opted for something cheaper that'll give me at least an average performance.
after reading the specification of camon 12 pro and with it coming with amoled display 6gb ram, etc i decided to go for it at least till my screen arrives.

ok I bought the phone did all the necessary security patch upgrades to April 2020 patch to ensure no bug will disturb me.

to cut the crap short this phone performance is nothing to write home about
chaiii the 6gb ram cannot even hold like 12 tabs on chrome without refreshing and sometimes it crashes the chrome
as in the phone dey lag pieces infact everything on this phone is crap from whitish camera to slow on screen fingerprint.
I was totally frustrated with the performance, it can't even keep task running in background for like 10 minutes without refreshing
I turned everything battery saver off, i even removed the battery optimisation yet nothing nothing.
if someone send you messages on WhatsApp you won't get notifications on time unless you open the WhatsApp.
and so many frustrating performance.

I asked myself if this is truly a 6gb ram phone?
I have used many phones and i know how a 6gb ram device can perform. a 4gb ram keeps task running for long not to talk about 6gb
but this one is different a 6gb ram killing task like a 2gb ram phone.
as in no smooth operation.
the whitish camera background is nothing to write home about.
I quickly entered gsmarena i saw similar complaints on everything I experienced.

I was frustrated I have to sell the phone 48k far from what I bought it add money and get another galaxy note 9.
if my screen arrives I'll fix that one and sell it.

never again will I use transsion phones again.

I noticed one thing
even though transsion na scrap infinix seems to be much better than the rest
my observations though.
transsion should fire those people in charge of tecno devices.

and those marketers on nairaland hyping these crappy devices
make una fear God ooo
na our hard earned money we dey use buy these phones oo cry

My first and last trassion phone ended in hot premium tears... The fvcking phone was preloaded with a virus that was embedded with the OS, all efforts to remove it proved abortive, went to techno office and they asked me to buy a brand new panel as my warranty doesn't cover that...

Long story short I will never ever near those shity phones in my life

I'm not a marketer, just sharing my own experience using the device. That's currently what I'm using to comment now. My experience is awesome. Sorry for your bad experience! You don't necessarily need to insult me to prove a point!

I have lots of heavy games on my phone, like Modern Combat, PUBG, Free Fire, Clash of Kings, Sim FreePlay, and other productivity apps.

My experience using the device is great. No regret whatsoever. This is my honest review, and I have nothing to gain.

The only issue I have with the company is late update. Aside from that, my experience is good.

Interesting... You got PUBG and Free Fire...
Tell me, you play safe or hotdrop? TDM??
Cos even on smooth+high, your gameplay won't be enjoyable after a few matches, especially if you're constantly clutching in TDM, unless you're a casual player.
Also MC 4 or 5? Cos I know MC 5 had compatibility issues with old MTK-powered devices, especially unpopular ones (repeated downloads of a single episode was one of the breaking points)

Then again, your definition of enjoyment might be suffering for me.

Transsion design their phone devices to last for 2years so that Nigerians will continue to revisit and reshuffle the same pieces of craps they churn out every year.

I do not need to convince someone whose hate for a product beclouds his reasoning. This is my first time commenting about my device, so m not one of these people who waste time all day arguing about phones. I seriously don't have that time. Believe or not, your choice.

My "hate" or whatever you call it are based off my experiences from using the brand products.
I don't patronize mediocrity - especially in tech - and your choice to do so isn't my headache.

If you want to have an argument, be ready to listen to the views of others instead of assuming everyone using a product got no issues with it but since you've stated you got no interest arguing, I won't.

Still, my "hate" on the brand and their products (except the Note 7) still remains if they're unwilling to change their practices of assuming Africans (especially Nigerians) don't deserve getting phones with decent build, run latest software without hitches due to compatibility issues, be relevant in the dev community.

Call it a "hate speech" for all I care, THAT is my opinion based off my experience with them and the experience of close friends and acquaintances who know what's up in the tech hub.

Say whatever will make you happy, as for me, I'm done.

to change your phone every 2 years isn't a bad idea, moreover I used my spark k7 for over 2 years and I sold it at a good price cos it was still working fine.
