Igboid:Trash haha igala that is as old than many of the offsping tribe , you are saying they made us....Hey oga you dont know what you are saying..who are idomas when you mention igala history? Igalas are igalas by tribe ok older than any of these tribes who came to settle in idah way back because idah always welcome other tribes and now you are saying igalas came from them. |

Revolva:Idah was not always Igala. Idah was first occupied by proto Igbo and Proto Yoruboid speakers, with sprinkle of Edoids. That was until the Jukuns came and conquered all the groups present and united them under the Attah dynasty. The Attah is a Jukun man, he knows it. But the Igala are not Jukuns. They are the end product of Yoruboid, Igbo, Edoid and Idoma mixture. The Igbos in Idah were said to be under the leadership of a certain Achadu. There is nothing old about Igala. Igala is relatively new. That you had access to better weapons from Trans Saharan trade with which your Jukun conquerors used to terrorize parts of Northern Igbo, does not make you an ancient people. Even your Attah knows the truth. Would you mind telling us the origin of the Igala people? "Talking about the origin of the Igala people, a sizeable group migrated from Wukari in Taraba State from where they came to Benue along the River Benue and continued very close to the confluence at a place called Amagede by River Benue and slightly down from Amagede downwards to Idah and they settled there. And there, they met a sizeable population of the Yorubas and the Benins and to some extent, some Igbo. So the migrant population from Wukari merged with them and produced a language called Igala as a people " ~ Attah Igala https://punchng.com/im-first-attah-in-igala-history-with-one-wife-ameh-oboni/?amp=1 |

Bottom line is that you can't claim because few Igala migrants running away from the Jukuns and were accommodated by peaceful indigenous Igbos of Midwest, that Anioma is no longer Igbo because they harboured Igala and Edo refugees. Because the same can be said of Igala and Edo. Igala in particular has Igbo component from the very beginning before the arrival of your Jukun overlords. We still know that places like Eke Avurugo, Akpanya, and parts of Ibaji are all not yet fully Igalanized in Kogi East. The aboriginal Igbos there are still showing signs of their Igbo heritage. Can we now say that Igala is not Igala, because Igbos were involved from the very beginning of foundation of Igala and there are yet Igbo speaking and bilingual Igbo speaking communities in Kogi East? |

Igboid:Everybody with their own version of Igala history well so how come Igals traced their history to ancient egypt and every thing can be found https://www.operanewsapp.com/ng/en/share/detail?news_id=89acb7a922877bb9f503649b354815ad&news_entry_id=s178ac94c200711en_ng&open_type=tanscoded&request_id=1f1081c7381fafe056699ca7c8222daebf9ad56d&from=publisher Igboid:this is a fact but these people were as a result of settlement that is all and intermarriage within time that is just it remmeber in the ancient time noting like state and border and politics all they do is conquering lands and kingdom |

Revolva:So if people are talking, a conquered Igala tribe still ruled by the Jukun monarchy will be talking too. What an insult! From history, Idah your capital has been faced with one rulership to another. First were the Bini’s who gave you the name Idah (in honour to Queen Idia) and Attah in honour of the first Benin Prince to rule you (Aji Attah). And second came, the Jukuns led by the (Idoma warriors) who your Kingship still worship and lately the Fulani who your Attah still bows to from Sokoto, can you tell us any good thing about Igalaland? Your ethnic group is the true definition of mix blood. From the Yoruba’s who you left centuries ago, to Egbira who pushed you further to settle at the plains of Igboland (present Igaland was Igbo aboriginal). The Igbos gave you your spirituality, later the Idoma came to Jukunize you, and recently the Hausa who you called for help to fight the Jukuns, but who stayed back and are now Igalas (their offspring now the people of Ankpa), can you tell us the ethnic pride of a mud blood people? Now the question is, how can a mud blood people birth a proud race as the Anioma (an offspring of the Igbo people)? Where in Anioma is this Igala heritage you speak about found? Can a tribe with no good history of their servitude origin claim to have a stake in a place they were never aborigines. If I were your people, I'll look towards north or even Yorubaland to claim brotherhood, because in time coming we may even annex Ibaji, Igalamela Odolu etc and other Igbo heritage areas that you slavish Akpotu stock grabbed from your sojourned from Okun land. |

Revolva:Egypt is too far. Take a look at Igala language. It's basically a Yoruba language with Igbo corruption. The other non Igbo and non Yoruba parts of the language are imprints from Edo and Jukun. This is common sense. If the Ebira didn't migrate and separate Igala from Okun people, Igala would have retained touch with Yoruba language changes over time and would by now remain an integral part of Yoruba land. You don't also need a soothsayer to know that many parts of Ibaji are actually Igalanized Igbo enclaves. As the Jukuns pushed southwards under pressure from the Caliphate, the Igala pushed Southwards as both refugees and invaders and occupied parts of lands originally inhabited by Igbo speaking aboriginals. What happened in Ibaji, Akpanya and Co, now claimed by Igalas, was about happening in Igbo heartland of Nsukka and Anambra north where we have Igala invaders and refuges now co existing with Igbos. The history of Nzam and the invasion by General Ajida portrayed this history very well. History is science and do follow logical sequence. Telling me Igala fell off from Egypt or Igbo from Israel is irrational and doesn't make sense. |

Igboid:That's why Biafra will emerge and will recover all our territory. Though avurugo and odolu are in kogi state but they are all igbo speaking apart of kogi states. All of us farm, intermarry and settle there till date |

Igboid:See I understand all your ideas these thing you wrote here are false it has been made to believe by some writers and i can believe that most igbos in ibaji and odolu igalamela who settled there were as a result of migration with from way back wars and farming and other natural causes which in those days nobody have time for segregration . People welcome people to settle with them, and you saying igala came from yoruba its a big lie...then where is yoruba from? Oduduwa fell from the sky abi? Oduduwa is a run away prince from benin who was even named oduduwa by the igalas when he settled in Idah as he fled away for fear of being killed in benin he went northward the river niger and it was idah and the then Attah welcome him and gave him comfort because he looked rich and well fed and they allowed him to lived amongt igala which he then moved to another part of igala land called ife and married some igala women about three of them and gave birth to children ..then he moved to a third migration southwards . to present day location and it was the name he got form the ife in igala land he used to name the present day ile ife in present day yoruba kingdom. Then he gave birth to oraimyan and some of his children , oramiyan later went back to benin to rule and they could not understand his language because he has been taught igala tonation which is what we call a mother tongue ( if your mama born you and speak your native dialect no be the dialect you go understand when growing up). so that was how oramiyan went to benin n ruled a while but he was having difficulties to communicate with the benins he left there to ibadan and continue by then his dialect has changed to what we know as yoruba.. WHY DO YOU THINK YORUBA LANGUAGE N IGALA ARE THE SAME ALMOST ORALLY these yorubasdont even agree their progenitor are from benin kingdom with igala mother , instead they say benin are from them..so sad because of population explosion and education and returned slaves of the modern time to add up their population. see what other connection igbos have with igalas tell me ..Yorubas own is so clear and i will let you know igbos came to igala land just for settlement like the other igalas that left idah to ibaji n illah and nzam and asaba as well and presently in Ebu in Oshimili north in delta speaks igalas till today they know their origin is from idah https://www.google.com/amp/s/businessday.ng/life-arts/article/the-crowning-of-shimite-bello-spirit-behind-deltas-entrepreneurship-drive/amp/ Ibajis then started mixing with igbos and edos due to trading and influence of the river Niger nearness and this foster marriage within these tribes but that does not stop ibajis from n ot being igalas till today they are still igalas as for the case of eko avurugu and ette and akpanya its the same similarity , igbos settled there due to settlement and trade and mixed up. same way igalas settled in Nsukka and mixed with them as well , infact influencing many of Naukka traditions from masquerades and red cap which igbos wear today is from iagala and Attah onced ruled there hope you are aware. its goes within the two community within the borders of igalas and igbos we coexist butijn terms of ancestry we got noting in comon much, we both have influenced ourselves in marriages and trades only the yoruba i can attest because of the language. remember in the ancient time people travel a lot.
