Bros I no be staff of uber or bolt oh... But i dint think they're open ahall1.

Someone here said the other time that bolt office Surulere is open maybe you should try that one.

As for Uber, im sure they won't open until Int'A is reopened or till a vaccine for the virus comes out.

You can book an in person appointment on the app.

Bros reading this comment, makes Me feel emotional.

I used to be one of the best drivers that delivers on time (I delivers on mondays)

This is week 7 that’s I haven’t make any delivery for my partner simply because the work isn’t worth it anymore.

Am on HP, have paid total of 1.2 out of 3.2 (03 Corolla) up till this moment I’m feeling bad because I couldn’t meet up. I’m owning my mechanic almost 13k, passenger hub is making hell noise currently, crank shaft and engine needs ringing raising the funds already.

Last I did in a week is just 27k. If I deduct fuel and other stuff commission and all I’ll be left with zero.

I pity “we” drivers repairing our cars by ourselves is not an easy thing I swear. You’ve got to accept every trips and you can’t be so selective with trips because there’s competition and you might not get another trip in 3hours.

I’ can’t make an account of how much have borrowed from my wife’s salary to fix one or two thing from the car. Well life is all about win and loses.

Have been able to submit my cv’s which that’s not sure but anything I get there, I’ll manage.

Why am I lamenting? I want advice from my brothers out here. My decision is to drop this car make I find something else doing before my long lasting relationship with my partner will become something Very bad.

Because I don’t think I can Deliver over 30k+ he requires for remittance anytime sooner.

Oruko rere sanju Wura looo

I’ve tried my best after the easing of lockdown, have paid lastma, try cabu, did Uber/inDriver but yet I can’t gross 30k.

Please brothers I need mature advice

Thanks
My brother what can I say?

We apart from Bigleaf1006 are all in this together.

na condition them say make crawfish tale bend.

Just have faith my brother and keep moving, things will never remain the same for ever.

Most importantly, thank God you even have a wife that supports, how about those people that don't even have anybody, they're just ledt alone in this wicked world to suffer, no help, no one to even relate their problem with not for solution or for assistance but to atlease listen and give them some words of hope.

So my brother count your self fortunate that you still woke up to type what you're even passing through in this trying times, corona virus has sent more than half a million people world wide to their early grave.

Guy! What more can I say?

Man up! ma loo fo. Dont give up.
Keep the hope alive, with God we shall conquer and have a better life

Bros, we were on a lock down for almost 3month, after the lockdown some driver still went ahead t9 so additional 1 month extra, most drivers tasted the water for like 1-2 weeks b4 we started having a steady remittance of 10k, 15k, 20k and above. Some are even doing 30, 35k... So you can c how things are getting better.

Your thinking that it will last for a year plus is totally unacceptable and forbidden unless you want to say you're a pessimist.

Watin una dey even talk self? Are you guys talking about new investors or a car that has been on the platform for over a year??

I get your point, for an existing arrangement , a car owner should be considerate given the current situation and bring the bar lower for drivers at this difficult time. But for new contracts, I'll advice everything be put on ice till the market improves.

Even for the likes of Moove, I suspect they had already imported the cars pre-corona and decided to still go ahead because shareholders/creditors are on their neck for returns on their investment.

I was out yesterday for about 5hrs (10am - 3pm), with 10am being a trip that took me out. I grossed just 4,100 (inclusive of fuel and commission) and even these trip, in the good old days I won't take them because the roads in these locations were too bad. I had to call it a day when a rider wanted me to carry probably about 300-400kg load for just 2k in a location with extremely bad road.

The hussle ain't worth it for many drivers now, so I strongly advice anyone intending to just come in to put things on ice if possible.

Then bolt isn't even making things better with their pricing, unchanged commission and pressure on drivers to accept all trip they get.

It's not uncommon nowadays to see drivers looking really stressed and unkempt like bus drivers, the situation is really bad now for people not owning their own cars and anyone should be well advised.

If it's dissuading people from watching his videos, then it's bad business. If he wants to prolong his videos, then he needs to learn to learn how to make the "unnecessary" prelude interesting and captivating.

My brother, you are not alone in this. Be rest assured that you are better off than thousandths of men out there...... you must thank God always.
Things are generally difficult thiese days so we just have to keep trying and giving up must never even cross our minds.
Even I console myself lot of times.
I started this hustle(Uber only) last year Nov. with a toks camry but am tired already. Despite the car is mine, couldn't still pay my house rent which over due some months back.
It is what is it my brother. Perhaps it may be better to drop the car, if you can go through with that.
BUT ONE THING IS SURE; THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A WAY OUT even if "when&how are unknown "
