N.power shul hav be like uniform men trainin. if our leaders have sense, they will have do it buy payin N.power's som money @ the end of their 2 yr services (250,000-500,000) to start their new life.

I don't know exactly what Nigerians have benefitted from our leaders.

We have more than enough money but corruption won't allow it get to the common man.

PMB should please listen to these people and not cancel the NPower

social welfare is good when there is a lot of free money but now the country is broke.. i mean broke fucking broke.

that is why the govt. should have continued with YOUWIN strategy maybe come with a different name for it...

cos with a YOUWIN kind of system, U produce Enterpernuers that will create future employment opportunities

while Npower only creates employees, people that will continue to be a liability to the govt. like all these youths protesting here.

This is a testament that N-Power has failed.
A program designed to make enterpreneurs ended up creating job seekers.

A total redesign is needed.

The level of poverty is this country is alarming. Just imagine how graduates are protesting for 30k job.

The government should look into their demands. They should conduct a comprehensive interview for them.If possible get an agency to do the interview. Those who scale through should be employed, most especially as teachers.Because,the education sector is a big mess.

you can't just employ "anybody" to teach, that's what is killing our education sector. Someone who got a first class or 2-1 is employed, even though that person crammed his/her through university. The best teachers are practitioners, people who are in the field. If you employ a reader/crammer and the book has an error, he/she will pass it down to the students.

30,000×4years×12 months + cist if tablet( say 70,000)= 1.5 million naira approximately.
Why not gather those people who have skills,monitor and mentor them with 1.5 million Naira cash to start up

Uptill now, they have not receive their June stipend, what is the problem of this minister.

Batch B were promised device during registration and was not given.

The minister said about 109000 of them are doing their own business, how did she come out with this data.

No month their stipend was not delayed.

They promised them employment before employment, why are they sending them out now.

The minister should resign.

Most states Universal basic education board could have absorb the N-power whatever.in primary and secondary schools.matter of fact most primary schools in our LGAs have less than 3 staff,same with secondary school. cos these n-power people are graduates mostly,this will improve basic school pupils knowledge and standard

The government was clear on terms of the agreement but, sending these people back to the streets makes no sense to any reasonable Nigerian leader.

Let us all these ones go and learn a trade or something and stop disturbing the president..

A government that promised given beneficiaries a permenant job during election, should do the needful now. They should not be thrown out like criminals. Keep to your words President Buhari.

The only thing this government can boast of having achieved, is what they still want to destroy by themselves. How can a sane government think of disengaging 500000 npower beneficiaries in this harsh time after using them to win election? Very sad
