Thanks alot.. oil guaged.... .

Let me break explain from the onset.

I had a failed gear pump(pump stop working all of a sudden in d morning). Although, I initially wanted to replace the gear. Went to Ladipo, guys gave me a wrong gear(05 Corolla gear) requiring t4 oil which I bought (8 litres).
I eventually return the gear and bought a gear pump. Installed and for lack of sufficient fund used the t4 oil on the old gear.

Current issue: early morning... Gear shift very hard(even reverse). But after some 30- 40mins drive ... It shift very smoothly.
Initially thought it was the engine seat but they are all firm. Mechanic says its because the pump is new.
This is the third day and it still doing hard shifting if I drive early in the morning or I park for a long time.

Scanned error code is p2770
For starters I'll advice u change the gear oil to the recommended WS, who knows ur problem might be the T4 fluid. Even if it turns out the oil isn't the cause of the hard shifting, it might definitely ruine ur transmission in a long run.

Some cars are best purchased as toks, and Peugeot happens to be one of those.

Hello all, is IAT sensor integrated with MAF sensor in accord 01? If so, does a p113 dtc code mean i have to change the MAF sensor?

When you googled the meaning of the code. What did it say?
Re: Maintenance Tips On Cars. by bukhety(f): 5:00pm On Jul 22, 2020
The p113 code reads as intake air temperature circuit high. I am confused as to the location of the sensor in my 01 accord. Whether it is integrated with MAF sensor or a separate.

How much is the Tokunbo lower ball joint for Honda hala and the upper arm?

My steering is shaking as I drive. The alignment man said its a mechanic issue as it continued after alignment. What is responsible? I am afraid of speeding now and need to move around. I just replaced the engine with Tokunbo.

Good morning everyone..
I bought a 1997 Camry about 5months back.I've had two main recurring problems with the car.
1.Most times, the milage goes off and the speedometer will stop to work. This makes the car to take a long time in selecting gears.

2.Most times it rough idles, there are times the issue will stop but since I've bought the car I've change fuel filter, fuel pump, plugs, plug cables and they've serviced the injectors too.when ever I engage a gear the RPM meter is unstable, it jerks.

I'll appreciate any help i can get

Good day every one.. I need help with a 2001 Toyota Camry..

I bought this vehicle two months back from a friend. Vehicle is still very okay and drives fine. But then, when I ever start the vehicle in the mornings or throttle it down while idle there is this rattling sound coming from the engine.

Note It doesn't affect the performance of the vehicle in anyway, it drives fine.

So I had my mechanic check it out and he said the engine top had been tampered with before. I called my friend and he confirmed this. My mechanic suggested we get another engine top for the vehicle.. I sourced for it myself and brought it to him, which he confirmed before installation. After everything I still hear the same noise, though it reduced. And there are no warning lights on the dashboard.

Definitely not your Valve cover (if that's what you are referring to as engine cover)

You'll have to listen properly to ascertain where the noise is coming from. It could be anything from a worn belt, bad bearings, pulleys or belt tensioner.

A personal experience on two different cars have two different culprits; 1MZ was a bad alternator bearing (replaced the alternator and it went away)

1ZZ was a bad pulley + Belt tensioner. The sounds come up at cold start and go away after a while, pressing down on the throttle pulled the pulley and caused the whining sound.

Not sure the 5S engine has vvti, so that one is eliminated. It's knock sensor too can be a culprit.

Your current indomie generation mechanics have forgotten the struggle (if they ever knew it)

They all keep skipping part when installing the camshafts.

You have to lock the gears with a 10mm bolt before removing the cams, or else you will have rattles.

If you in Lagos contact me I'll install it properly for you at a fee.

Vehicle is in limp mode. A scan will reveal why. Scan your vehicle.

For number one, it's very easy, replace instrument cluster, and the intermittent P0500 code will go away

For number 2 remote diagnosis is unavailable

The intake air sensor in the accord is an integral part of the airflow Meter.

Since your vehicle is a 2001 it is not an integral part of the mass air flow meter.
It is located somewhere on the intake and looks like the picture attached. Depending on engine type V6 or 4cylinder

If you can do a WhatsApp video I will point it out to you.

If this is your only code, then your diagnosis is pretty straight forward.

Kindly verify this code comes back each time it is erased .

Good morning guys pls help my toyota matrix xr 2003 drinks fuel wella. A friend recently told me to check d thermostat and dt stuff Inside the exhaust pot. ( catalyst)
Truth is my car steams very well in d morning. And I just noticed my car doesn't have a thermostat...
Can that be d problem of the bad fuel consumption

The catalytic converter is not your problem. The engine running too cold is your problem.

Replace your radiator, install coolant and replace the mechanical thermostat in the coolant housing. You will notice a significant difference. Also scan vehicle for emission errors

Yea code comes on even after it is been erased..

#just to add... There is a particular sensor on the gear body...(under the airflow compartment)..

The mechanic loosed the bolt and removed the sensor and cleaned it. He says The cable connected to the sensor is not having current... (He doesn't know if the cable should carry current at that stationery point or when the car is in motion as he doesn't have knowledge of gear workings).

Good day Auto gurus,
I have a 2GR Sienna that I recently changed the engine and downgraded the gear from 13-pin to 10-pin.
The strange thing is that water moves up from the radiator to the water reservoir (Like in the case of burnt top gasket). This normally happens when the car is on long distance journey and after a small time it will start overheating. Driving within the city, it doesn't happen but once you embark on long journey it happens. This has caused me to change the radiator cap severally and also wash the radiator.
Please what could be the problem?
