I don’t take all those friendly games serious even thou I know dessers will come good

I still wonder why he had to go to that league

Me too

I would've preferred PSV or Ajax to them but I have high hopes for him

If he maintains his scoring form in the league proper, he may end up spending just one season there

Bukayo Saka has cast doubt over his England future by admitting it will be 'tough' to choose between the Three Lions and Nigeria.

The 18-year-old Arsenal star, who has played in England's youth system, is eligible for both nations having not made a senior international appearance.

“It's a tough choice,” Saka told Sky Sports.

“I'm happy to have represented England at youth level but I'm also proud of my Nigerian heritage from my parents.

“We haven't been picked by any team so it's about staying humble and when the time comes we'll make the decision.”

Been a while bro.

How are you? Hope all is well?

How many minutes has he play that you are already writing him off by saying things never worked out for him

So any forward that plays 5 games which is less than 90 minutes and he didn’t score much he should no longer be in the team ba ?

It's sad things never worked out for him in SE
It doesn't take a lot of brain power to comprehend that this post wishes he could return to the SE.

But Nigerian academies support age cheat too. Yes, I'm sure , 100%

That is precisely my point.

Real small boys? What's your proof? Is your basis for that not eye test? Do you have access to their birth certificates? If you can use eye test to estimate the age bracket of some of our players, others can use the same method to decide if our players are overaged. And while some may look older than their ages, others may look younger than their ages too. However since we don't have access to their original birth certificates-This may not be correct as well(birth certificates are still being completed with pen ink ), but i would rather use that instead of the Passport(you can get a passport without a certificate), for a crop of 23 players, if it looks obvious that 90% of them are overaged, you can be certain that it's very likely they are overaged, since people whose appearance belies their age are usually a small percent of the population. Meanwhile, for those people you mentioned, Mikel, Chidiebere e.t.c i am sure most people here do think they actually didn't lie about their ages, and if they did, it could be by a year or 2. So yes we do think most of our players are usually older than their youth level, and we our reasons are well justified, and that's not to embarass our players. One thing this pandemic has taught everyone is that, humans generally behave similarly everywhere. The major difference between Nigeria and these developed countries lies in the system in place. Their system works well in keeping residents in check. Until such a system is in place, youth coaches will continue to invite players that are overaged as long as they think they are the best(whether their choice is motivated by financial benefits is another thing). An under 17 coach meets an under 17 player he likes, he finds out the lad is 21.He tells him, 21 and 17 are not that different. grin. Just four years. Go get a passport that says you are 17. Who is gonna let such an opportunity pass by. This is just one scenario.

You are just running with assumptions. Just as we can not claim that they are their age grades due to lack of or faulty birth capture system, it does not mean it is a haven of overage players because you do not also have their birth certificates to prove it.

Chukwueze for instance is a player we saw in the U17 level, from the Nigerian system. Same with Chidera Eze. We don't need their birth certificates to know that they are not 21, claiming 16-17.

Nothing more sickening and distasteful when people starts brandishing their achievements and qualifications when the topic of conversation has nothing to do with it. This usually happens when people feel insufficient with your impression of them. They pull that trick to force you to respect them in other to feel content and fulfilled. We have many of those here.

'Osimhen could surpass Maradona'
By Football Italia staff

Nigerian football chief Amaju Pinnick claims Victor Osimhen has what it takes ‘to match and even break the records’ Diego Maradona set at Napoli.

Osimhen is in the process of finalising his record-breaking move to Napoli from Lille, and Pinnick believes the Partenopei are ‘the right club’ for his countryman to realise his potential.

“I think Victor Osimhen is an excellent signing for Napoli,” he told Radio Kiss Kiss.

“I’ve followed them from when they had Diego Armando Maradona. Naples is a proud city and also in football terms.

“Osimhen’s a source of pride of African football. He’s someone who is disciplined but focused on objectives, and if he wants something, he knows how to get it.

“He made the right decision for his career. I already believe he’ll receive the right support from the club and its fans.

“Napoli are the right club for him to achieve important results, and Osimhen will always give his best.

“I’ll say it now: Victor will do everything possible to match and even break the records set by a legend like Maradona.

“I talked Victor just a few minutes ago: he’s very excited about his new experience and new club.

“Napoli is a big name in world football. It’ll be a new challenge for him and he told me: ‘President, I’ll make Naples proud.’

“If he gets the right support, I guarantee he’ll stick to his word and make you all proud. Believe in him and he’ll help the team achieve their objectives.

“I’ll come to Naples next season to watch some of their games. Osimhen is young and could stay at Napoli for a long time.

“As I already said, he’ll be playing for a great team and his quality justifies the investment made by Napoli, who believe in Victor’s huge potential.

“We’re talking about a player who won the [U-17] World Cup in Chile in 2016. I’ve already wished him all the best.

“I’ve already been to Naples with my wife on a cruise when I was younger. I really like the city, which I had the pleasure of visiting but only for a short time.

“I’ll be happy to come back and attend Napoli’s matches.”

His chances at Euros squad may be a big decider. Also Afcon is at the doorsteps too. It would be bad if he opts out and we hit gold.... Deep down, i suspect he personally wants SE. I suspect.

South is Christian
North is Muslim

Its sickening for a tribe to feel everything evolves around them in general.

As for regional, hmmm

Thats gonna make the SS the richest.

Nigeria needs some restructuring too.

While will my state suffering from low power supply have a dam that generates hundreds of MW, only for it to be sent to National grid to be sent somewhere where they dont give a damn about my state?

Every dam state should enjoy their dam to start with.

And see Ethiopians, building new dam to finish in 2022.

And we dey here with unfinished Kainji dam of where 7/12 turbines are installed and completed but only 5 are functioning. Smh. Smh.

The bolded is the trick he has used to mentally enslave most lowlifes in here, that they now worship him like a god, and throw stones at anyone who sees him for who he truly is. I thought I was the only one who has noticed this. Dude ain't got no fvcking life outside social media, forget the empty chest beatings. All is a ploy to keep his hossana singers dancing to his tone. He is always trying so hard to impress, and that reeks of low self esteem and total intellectual bankruptcy.

See how they gonna gather to form a pity party, making themselves his foot mat just to be on his good books.

The statement that if 90% of a crop of players look overaged then it's very likely they are overaged is based on experience. We know how we look. Situations where players look younger/older than their age happen but it's an outlier. You can't base your statements on outliers. If you are one day older than 17 you would be lying if you featured in an under 17 tournament. 21 is at least 4 years older than 16/17 and that's definitely too much. If a player is 17 you should normally be able to tell with an error of at most 2 years. Chidera Ezeh while he played for under 17 looked 17, no question. Now he could have been older, perhaps he had a baby face, and structure. That was the only player i could tell he's 17 barring a situations whereby he was an outlier-i don't remember any other. The others looked at least 20. It's the same reason why we know the players have been a lot younger over the last 7 years or so. Although that's mostly cos MRI forced it. So going as far as 21 is too much.
TheGoodJoe:

I believe in a rejuvenated Nwakali, but not as an AM, I prefer him at CM. Not taking anything away from Saka but I honestly don't think we are in dire need of him because I can't quite see where he fits in
Saka could end up becoming a generational talent. At 18, he has 12 assists, only bettered by Trent Alexander and Kevin Debryn. Not minding he played most of the campaign as a wing back.

For size, Iwobi has 16 assists in his entire career.
How you don't see where he fits in for Nigeria is quite perplexing.

It's my opinion, but it's not based on sentiments but taking all variables into consideration you them come to an informed inference.

You can have your opinion, quarrel no deh.

Awaziem by all accounts and standards has not been outstanding in La Liga. He has been essentially anonymous.

Good clubs don't buy underperforming players, it's common sense you buy players that will take you up not down.

And so in that context it's easy to see what's most likely media speculation and what's probably a rumour.

Awaziem was nominated for the player of the year in his club meaning he was one of the best players in his club. We've seen bigger clubs buy players from relegated clubs. Example was when Everton bought Idrissa Gueye from relegated Aston Villa
