the show is aired on a cable satellite network were viewers subscribe to watch. its not aired on any national (both govt and private owned) TV. so lair lai has no right to ban a particular channel from dstv.
Dstv show porn in one of their channels, it all depends on the restrictions you put on your decoder

My brother no body scrapped who wants to be a millionaire the problem was investor where not forthcoming honestly this show needs money to succeed because it costs money.No investors will invest where he is not 70% sure of making profit so i don't blame them, is want the mass want they go for, is just business...
I wish our learned millionaire and billionaire who truly know the worth of education can come together and invest in (who wants to be a millionaire) so that our children can enjoy what we watched while growing up. Honestly i miss the show

Since when Mr lie made such statements, only God knows the amount of criticism he might have received before now. Even Buhari would’ve called him, telling him that... grin ( Lie don’t you know that this show is the one keeping the lazy youths busy, for them not to think right about our incompetence? That was when Mr Lie realized that he was about to make a mistake, hence reason for debunking the statement grin
Because people gain vicarious pleasure through it. Whether they know it or not something about the show appeals to them, what is done on the show reflects the way they'd really like to live, but maybe because of our cultural or religious background they've kinda locked these attitudes inside of them and watching shows like that just gives them a feel of their inner selves.

Personally (yes, I know nobody asked me). I think the big brother show is a total example of how we promote irrelevant things. There are people with real talents or innovative ideas that the organizers of bbn could promote or sponsor. but hey, that wouldn't sell as much. Sometimes, it beats my imagination how a grown up youths that should be thinking on how this Country can be flawless in years to come, rather sitting in front of a TV for hours watching other people simply live and not creating or doing anything beneficial much more worthy.

99.9% of the people commenting here saying they don’t watch BBN and should be Banned are currently sitting and typing this infront of their TV’s watching channel 198 / 29 ... You’re all hypocrites and that’s why the nation is not moving.
Someone said it’s going to pollute the youths shey the youths that have been polluted since birth .....
Anyway I do watch it and so far so good I haven’t seen anything bad in how they relate with themselves..

Even if you said it before.. Why should you cancel it before sef? Is it that BBN has bought the whole station on DSTV and GOTV? Everything in life's a choice there are other varieties of station on DSTV.. Just go for your taste go for what makes you happy... Those crew complaining about BBN are just hypocrites or most of them. Don't be surprised if they're even the ones following it up and down till they will even be using their phones to send SMS comments and Twitter comments and fb comments displayed on the screen.. They can even be those using phones' camera on their TVs and bring out short video out of the show

So let's stop being hypocrites if you like your yoruba movies never leave ur channel 157 if u like SS never play outside 227 and its brothers. Nothing to be fighting on

For me i don't see the reason for govt to cancel the show because it has already started and some people and some company's has invested money on it. I'm not a fan of BBnaija but some people are and is not by force to watch it there are other channels and program to watch on dstv.my concern is that govt should tax them and make something from the show and invest it bck to the society.

So bbn blocks the use of ur sense ? Might be a crappy show but it's obvious majority thinks otherwise not just in Nigeria, wat will u gain from scrapping d show. U don't want to watch tm? There are many other channels on DStv, wat ppl watch with their eyes and subscription is not ur business.

To my fellow Nigerians, we need to learn how to live and let live. By default, a vast majority of Nigerians are intolerant towards any view, believe and behaviors they do not agree with!! That is why we all hate ourselves and even within a homogenous tribe, we still find a way to hate ourselves!!

He’s Christian, she’s Muslim, he’s Yoruba, she’s Igbo, he’s Hausa, she’s Fulani.... we just find so many reasons to divide and hate ourselves even though we are all black!

Schools dey closed, not banned. Know the difference. Some people still dey do online classes, some people don even graduate in the last few months, so, better schools still dey function.

And if you wonder why a show that is hosted inside one house in Ilupeju, Lagos, and involves 20 housemates, should hold, while thousands of schools across the country, that cater to hundreds of thousands of students remain closed, then your IQ is not high enough, to be considered that of an educated adult.

I m old skool, I don't watch TV ( except football on weekends or champions league weekdays), my laptop with internet is fine for me.
I find TV boring but people should be allowed to watch wateva they want, it's their money and subscription. Because u don't like a show doesn't mean everyone shouldn't.
You don't hear me shouting scrap DStv or TV as a whole because I find them useless
