Sadly, people majorly involved in these crimes are the same people making the loudest noise about Nigeria's battered image abroad.

In this case, they will say "Nigeria". Meanwhile, few hausas or yorubas involved in crime, same clowns will scream "afonja" or "abokki", not Nigeria o.

They have been living in self delusional lies, always lying to themselves.

Continue deceiving yourselves.
You should know that crime has no tribe. Hushpuppy and Woodberry are case study and this two guys are not from the tribe you have in mind.Again the massive corruption going on in this our country alone by the so called leaders is enough to destroy the image of this country internationally.Hope you know that we have foreigners living in our country and they listen to all the stories of corruption in this country.Assuming you are a foreigner and you read the corrupt case of Magu,a man that was suppose to be corruption fighter, what will be your conclusion about this country called Nigeria?

NigeriaIsDoomed:
But how do you explain a situation where you are not granted the the opportunity to grow because of your tribe?
I would rather prefer to be treated unfairly in a foreign land than in my own country.
Some folks left Nigeria not because it is rosy out there and they are some who would rather die abroad than come back home, believe you me.
The criminals ruling Nigeria have really messed things up.

That's why we need to be innovative. Help yourself, take advantage of the broken system in Nigeria. But sadly we are not, the idea of school is to gain knowledge to excel but we Nigerians see a degree as key to get open the door of a job. But no, we should make our own doors. Believe me when I say that as a Blackman the chances of growing abroad especially Europe is very very limited. You will succeed and have comfort yes but you will never grow. That's what Nigeria offers, growth. But the the opportunity to that is unfortunately limited to those who will do whatever it takes to grow. Lie if you have to, bribe whoever you have to. The changes we desire can only come when we are in the position to effect it. Now, how you get to that position is entirely up to you.

I mean those illiterates following lamidi cownu up and down.

Don't you see your stupidity? Husppupi is one of those following Kanu? You will all die because of your hatred for the Igbo nation.
I for anything, don't support living life in the fast lane, but I'm against messing a whole tribe for one man's offense, when you and your tribe are not even free from such, because you hate the people and the tribe.

Nigerians in UAE are not trying at all, imagine leaving your own country to hustle in another country only to get here to form Vikings, , prostitution, alcohol and all type of crazy stuffs, there was a time I heard they use girls as bait to rob men of their valuables, they would snap their victim(s) while they are unclad and then beat them before obtaining them and I even heard some would collect their victims atm card and empty their account(s)
In Sharjah imagine a Nigerian setting another Nigerian on fire based on this cultism matter
Another chopped off another cultist’s hand because he was accused of stealing,
So many stories wey person no fit dey talk I feel so bad when I see these things, I went for an interview which I believe I aced and they promised to call back cause we discussed salary and all that but they didn’t call back instead na me dey call the HR
Nigerians are just bad luck I swear

So could Shirley be a small coy, possibly not tied into the Industry code of practice and openly flaunting rules by assumption.. The rules are for employers not recruiters?!?

Nigerians are beautiful, resourceful, friendly, warm people...Most are, anyway!!

A few may be naughty or bad.

There are bad people everywhere.
Nationality is simply of the garments they wear.

To the story, you quoted.... I take with a pinch of salt that every bad act has a Nigerian as the lead actor. Many people claim the country, have forged passports of the country...
Remember there was a short epidermic of borrowed identities, a while ago in an European country where a lot of "Nigerian" criminals were truly from other African countries and even the Carribeans!!!

They leave Nigeria for 1st world countries citing 'bad govt' but their bad character never left them.

Ask them why they keep spoiling those places (America, Europe, Dubai etc), they'll still point accusing fingers to buhari!

Dubai is not first world. Most "workers" in Dubai are the product of human trafficking.

Rubbish write up. That guy that said most of Nigerians here don’t have qualifications is a bloody liar, one of my friends who graduated with a 2.1 in mech engineering from unilateral roamed sharjah for 9 months without seeing any job and ended up working at a car wash. Imagine working from 6am till 11pm, sometimes 1 am 6 days a week for 120k a month.
Companies in Dubai are very exploitative towards Africans, whoever wrote this write up has either not lived much in Dubai or is an asslicker.

If you haven't been into a place you will quickly say rubbish without a single clue. Yes, Nigerians commit henious crimes here but what about the Indians? THEY LITERALLY STOLE FROM THE EMIRATIS WHO OWNS THE COUNTRY BUT ARE NOT PUNISHED FOR ANYTHING
