but redmi 10x 5g and pro have amoled displays, and we don't know xiaomi plans for the international market mixed with the fact that he needs sd card support is why i am asking him to wait and see if not i would have told him to try and get last year's mi 9 instead

I don't think Xiaomi rebadges old devices as next gen devices. Since the RN9 series don't exist in China they got the Redmi 10x series.

It's a completely different generation so we'll be getting completely new devices in the Note 10 series.

but they do,like cc series and note series and mi a series and poco and redmi k series are sometimes just the same device with different names, but anyhow sha! Only time will tell what xiaomi plans are but i still think he should should wait because if xiaomi decide to release the note 10 series with amoled displays and mtk 820/1000 or sd 765/768 and he has already bought the mi note 10 lite he'll start suffering from buyers remorse

I won't bank on the rumour mills till I start seeing them on verified sources not from wishful thinking YouTubers.

You just listed same generations of devices.

He can choose to wait but waiting on a speculation is not smart. There's barely any info on the series now and no talks of release. With the global pandemic, a new Note series won't come till October, probably. And what happens when your speculation doesn't translate into fact?

Dude, global ROM is not Chinese version flashed with global ROM.

Global ROM is a ROM meant for international market. Chinese version is Chinese variant of any Xiaomi device.

If you had said Chinese version flashed with global ROM, it would have been better.

Let me burst your bubble. A Chinese version flashed with global ROM is no different from a global version with global ROM on it except some hardwares such as LTE bands and co.

You actually needed the help more because not only are you in denial but you also used your so called information to mislead people here.

What's the difference between a global ROM flashed on a Chinese variant Redmi Note 8 and the global ROM that ships with a global version of Redmi Note 8?

Absolutely nothing.

That was why I said, what you typed made no sense.
pure school of thought

Exactly the reason why his battery is misbehaving. He's changed about 3 ROMs within 7 days. No chance for the phone to optimise self.
hope no downside in incessant flashing of these devices aside the battery reset thing? I no wan read story that touch the soul hear o.

The only downside is if person no follow instructions. Once you someone mistakenly flash on a different partition, it is bye bye o.

Also, as an added advice, anyone flashing custom ROMs should desist from charging their devices whenever they boot to recovery. It seriously messes with battery stats.

yea,i know its all rumors and speculation. My train of thought is now would not be the best time to get the mi note 10 lite when we are just a few months away from finding out what xiaomi has planned for the redmi note series

It is a valid point, I'm just saying you shouldn't put too much hope on a speculation. I follow a few tipsters and I'm patiently waiting for the first sightings of the device. Once I get a TENAA listing of the RN10 I'll drop it here.

yea, i know.thats how speculations were pointing to the dimensity 1000 for the oneplus nord before the phone came out with sd765 not even sd768 and oneplus be having YouTubers hype it up like its the best midrange without comparisons to phones from realme and redmi at similar prices.

Changing room is sweet but most time you need to stick to one. Or use the stock ROM.
