my power steering pump got spoilt. BMW E36, it power steering pump is aluminium, so can't be repaired, so which car power steering would fit it. It uses fan belt to turn the power steering pump, M43 engine, four cylinder

Buy an exact replacement, do not put untold stress on your already old Engine!

Location matters in recommendations. I also feel it's very important to find and stick to only one mechanic especially one that's conversant and knowledgeable about the brand you own.

High pressure fuel pump (HPFP) failure. It's located in the engine, replace it and you'll be fine. I'm no BMW mechanic, I just love BMWs , except the ugly ones
