Rohr is a good team manager but he is not that good tactically. When you find a perfect tools for something, and this tool has a shortcoming, you don't throw the tool away...you find a way to neutralize its shortcoming. This is a perfect illustration of Rohr. I admit I do get frustrated with his conservative football at times . NFF was supposed to hire somebody with vast knowledge in attacking football to balance the equation but who did we get?. ... YOBO. Dude is even a DEFENDER.

Dt doesn't mean..been a defender as a player doesn't mean u won't b good TACTICALLY (IN THEGOODJOE VOICE) going forward as a coach,we all knw guardiola was DMF during his playing days but as a coach his teams so far scores a lot of goals...maybe dt was d reason yobo was employed grin

3 Goalkeepers Maduka Okoye must outwit to become Sparta Rotterdam's #1
2. Michael Fabrie
Made Rotterdam's bench 24 times in the Eredivisie. Was only in action for their U21 team which featured in Dutch third tier.

According to rumors, Onyekuru is not a team player. And, rightly so Onyekuru reminds me of Vic-Mo just more gifted. The boy would hog the ball and play as if he owns the field

I agree, not a team player, but that can easily be worked on.

I know him to be extremely ambitious and being on loan doesn't help. He is a better striker than a winger.

3. Tim Coremans

Was Rotterdam's number one for the first half of the 19/20 Season. Currently injured due to torn knee ligament and is not expected to be match fit until next year (according to transfermarkt).

It is not..
Considering how poor Chelsea,Man Utd,Arsenal and Spurs were..

Leicester had the top 4 within their reach...Rodgers job was to secure it, but he blew it!

And Leicester recorded only 2 wins against the top 6 clubs... At home against Arsenal and Spurs..

Top six wins was not his job description but have the best possible result. Which i think he did credibly well and tried for the season.

They go back and keep trying. So far he did a good job.

3 Goalkeepers Maduka Okoye must outwit to become Sparta Rotterdam's #1

Conclusion
With the departure of Sparta's former #1 keeper, Ariel Harush, and Coremans' injury situation, Maduka Okoye has only two men to beat for the #1 keeper spot. Will he avoid the drop to their U21 squad, considering he is the only one of the quartet who is 21 or under? If he fails, we may well see him keeping in the Tweede Divisie come 20/21 season.

Nigeria defender Semi Ajayi is in the running for the West Bromwich Albion’s Supporters’ Player of the season prize, reports Completesports.com.

A total of 14 Baggies are up for the award. The shortlist includes players who have made at least 23 appearances in the Sky Bet Championship.

Sam Johnstone, Darnell Furlong, Hal Robson Kanu, Kyle Bartley, Filip Kronovic, Jake Livermore and Matt Phillips also made the shortlist.

Other players who are in the running for the award are; Matheus Pereira , Conor Townsend, Charlie Austin, Romaine Sawyers, Kyle Edwards and Grady Diangana.

Ajayi scored five goals in 45 appearances across all competitions for Slaven Bilic’s side.

The centre-back linked up with the Baggies from Rotherham United on a four-year contract last summer.

Voting will close at 4.30pm on Thursday, July 30.

Onyekuru case may be beyond playing in Turkey..
For some reasons I can't understand, Rohr doesn't rate him...

Check the stats of all our current wingers that started playing football 5-6 years ago, Onyekuru has the best goal record among them! He can function on any side of the wing and also as a lone striker or false 9..

E surely get why Rohr doesn't start him.

Personally,I like Onyekuru...I think he has what he take to be like Mane..
A goalscoring winger with good work rate..

It baffles me as well.

For a young lad like him, having scored about 50 goals as a winger is something special. I just want to see him back Monaco dominating things.

Bro, corruption has come to stay in Nigeria. don't think it will get better at all.
every institution seems to perpetually corrupt, i was in the High Court today to do an affidavit

the level of corruption i see amongst those court officials baffles me, even the commissioner for oath is more corrupt than anyone could think

Nigerians are just something else when they see money, the average Nigeria can easily be bribed
having an indigenous coach for SE will make it easy for mediocre players that earn some hard currencies to fetch call ups
all they have to do is to dangle a few dollar notes at the face of this indigenous coaches
boom!! they get call ups and even get to play

Man! The way you sounding, you obviously don't think there's hope.

I'm not denying the existence of corruption, all I'm saying is, we can't always depend on foreign coaches, it's not a sustainable practice, there'd be a time when we'd depend on a local coach again and with the system still the way it is, we can't expect anything to change.

We need to make conscious effort to fight this monster, we can't do that by slapping corrupt officials on the wrists - what happened with Salisu, there has to be real consequences.

Can you accuse the NBBF of corruption? That means, there's something they are doing right.

If we accept that corruption is here to stay, then why fight it?

In the heat of this foreign coach vs local coach argument

A foreign coach in Tanzania had this to say about the locals today cheesy

“I don’t enjoy [Tanzania]. You’re uneducated people. I am disgusted. I don’t have a car, WiFi or DStv. These fans don’t know anything about football. It’s like monkeys or dogs when they’re shouting.”

The disrespect chai
Hope say Rohr get DStv sha

How many teams on the continent can boast of the amount of players we currently have plying their trades in the big leagues.

Senegal, Mali, Cote De Voire, etc essentially a lot of the Francophone countries.

Part of the reason is that these countries have direct access to French league one from their local leagues. And the second is they seem to have a easier access relationship with players born in France but of Franco Phone African origin.

Team wey no get coach and doesn’t look like getting one soon. Just look at other women's national teams playing friendlies and invitational tournaments. NFF continues to brush aside the affairs of the Super Falcons, it is just a shame. This Lady is easily top 3 in the world. But stupid NFF wont help her career nationally

Playing without Mitrovic the best striker in the Championship a huge handicap for Fulham.

Tega is stamping his presence on the game.
