Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that two Premier League clubs have joined the race to sign Leicester City's Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho in the ongoing transfer window. Newcastle United were earlier exploring ways to sign the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup Golden Ball winner but now face competition from newly-promoted West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa, who escaped relegation by the skin of their teeth on the final day of the 2019-2020 season. Aston Villa found themselves battling for survival because they did not have a striker of Premier League standard in their ranks, and are in the market for offensive reinforcements ahead of the new season. Signed from Racing Genk in the January transfer window, Tanzania captain Mbwana Samatta did not live up to his billing, scoring just one goal in 14 appearances for Aston Villa in the top-flight. A move to either Aston Villa or West Brom would appeal to Iheanacho because he doesn't need to move house as it would take him less than one hour by road from Leicester to Birmingham. The former Manchester City starlet has been involved in 34 goals in 117 appearances since making his Premier League debut against Watford in August 2015. |

Hajduk Split have put Nigerian forward, Samuel Eduok on the transfer market. The player enjoyed his most prolific season in his career having scored 11 goals and 4 assists in 20 starts. Eduok is on a heavy salary that Split want to get rid of. He has been accused by fans of showing poor commitment and selecting matches to feature in. The left-footed for ward's quality is undoubted as he can play anywhere across the frontline and is known for being a free-kick specialist and ability to shoot from outside the box. If Eduok moves, he will be continuing his trend of not spending more than one season in a club since moving to Europe. |

West Ham United are willing to make a swap bid for Queens Park Rangers midfielder Eberechi Eze, reports Completesports.com. According to West London Sport, West Ham are ready to use Jordan Hugill in a move to bring down down QPR’s valuation of Eze. QPR want £20m for Eze, who was one of the standout performers in the Sky Bet Championship in the just concluded season. West Ham will use Hugill in a bid to drive their bid for Eze ahead of their Premier League rivals. The 22-year-old is also wanted by several Premier League clubs, including Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Newscastle United and West Bromwich Albion. Eze scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in 46 league appearances for QPR last season. |

elunico: I actually had that thought about him two seasons ago, but not anymore. One thing that gets players noticed is when you are outstanding in your league then you step up to a higher league and club. That's what's happening with Osayi. Football is about continous progression if you are not progressing somebody else will take your place. In that context there should be continous competition for places, that creates better quality in the team. 3 Likes 1 Share |

sheyishemba: This current trajectory seems infantile, what is it about. "Na me first see am, na me first talk am" Nobody really discovers players unless you are a football club scout or similar. Should l now post every single Nigerian origin players in the Academies of multiple clubs in the EPL and Championship. So I can be the first to mention him here, that would be very childish. Then add all the Nigerian origin players who are in the non league system and semi professional leagues. I only talk about players l consider to be prospects for the SE. That become problematic because l used the term, " l consider " My approach is not potential but HERE and NOW not potential future. Meanwhile we have hundreds of players being mentioned in daily basis playing in the most obscure leagues almost beyond imagination. That is where our issues are we don't seem to have clear standards. But there is one constant that is continous and that's FAVORITISM. 2 Likes |

What do you mean by player discovery ❓ Do you know how many Nigerian origin players that I know from age 12 upwards in multiples football academies across the UK currently. I had been seeing him at City as one small lanky boy from age 13. Small pikin don turn Man. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

ChrisKels: The league he is playing is not bad for now , he will only move if there are offers as he is doing well If you are reporting sadiq performance from serbia then you should have no problem with aribo playing in scotland I am sure you are feeling sadiq and you will want him to get a call up soon, then you should be okay with aribo How many players have you seen that move from english league 1 to portugal top club or bundesliga ? 2 Likes 2 Shares |

I'm not sure if it was posted here, but according to brilla . net the NPFL 2019/2020 season was concluded using points per game. Our continental reps next season are Plateau United, Rivers United and Enyimba FC. I read somewhere else that Kano Pillars gets the fourth spot because they won the confed cup last year, but I'm yet to verify. |
