now I'm sure most of you didn't watch the video Actually they just finished setting on fire a BHT ISWAP camp...
Tho that doesn't justify their way/mode of transportation and mobility.
From what I see it's almost like a battalion or brigade moving to set up another FOB after a successful op
Judging from the Possibly fuel or Water tank, Logistics trucks.
But why didn't they just park all Logistics into 1/2 up Armoured yellow bucket, Troops will move in MRAP or Guntrucks not parking them in a lorry.
I watched the video and there is no excuse for transporting troops in a volatile region this way.

There is actually no big deal with deploying large numbers of troops to fight at a time, so far they are well organized, structured and there is reasonable quantity of communication equipments. With good training, coordination and organization, a million soldiers can be deployed at a time with minimum risk of friendly fires.

I don't get why you're defending the jf 17 like this. To a large extent, he is right. You can only compare both in performance. But in weapon systems, the f16 is miles ahead. Jf17 does not even have an aesa radar. But I like the Jf17 still because it is okay. Nigeria does not need to pursue a useless arms race for now. If we keep growing economically, if Egypt like, let them have 1000 f16s, a little sanction will settle any matter, nowadays, nobody can bomb another freely without adequate backup. If am to advise the military, I'll tell them to forget about air superiority and missiles and focus on more attack planes, light attack helicopters and the likes. For example sikorsky militarizes the blackhawk with rockets and precision guns for a cost, you can buy it complet or get an old one and they'll militarize it. A used blackhawk is about 4 million dollars. All these things are helpful to checkmate the spread of terrorism in the North East.
even F-5 the USA would not sale talk less of F-16A.

my word for you is to wake from that Hollywood induced fantasy.

Did you follow my posts at all or you were itching to just type. Where did you see me comparing F16s and JF17s? E go good if you de follow things.

I specifically am on his argument about the quality of the jets based on his (1) BAIC/Mercedes (2) Number of users argument.

To your post. Who's considering Air Superiority? Nairaland Air Force? Where did you see arms race in any of the discourse?

The rationale for getting the JFs have been stated by the [real] NAF and over flogged by us on this thread so I don't know what new thing you're saying. The Service needs a multirole fighter. Fangirls are the ones onanating about fighting one Egypt or Chad or whatever

An overwhelming force of HQNigerianArmy SARS CJTF PoliceNG and special forces gives jihadist little chance of success in the latest ambush on professor Zulum convoy as he heads to distribute humanitarian relief to IDPs in Monguno.

How many times has this been re-echoed on this thread. The military will need to modernize its approach to this war. Two Drones can be automated to circle around the convoy at least 4km radius. That way, the convoy is getting heads up for the troops convoy on impeding attack

y the Mi24v gunship is pretty cool. the question is why did he stop or why did the gunship stop following him? I shouldn't believe he's trying to prove to the masses that he's not scared to die.

He is making a big mistake if he refuses to use a gunship now in Northern Borno.

You expect NAF to be deploying their air asset that is in short supply to be following the governor around because there are no urgent use for it elsewhere.
If the place he is going to isn't safe, he should sit his ass in Maiduguri all this show off isn't doing the military any good as it makes things complicated for them.

To some extent you might be right

But have you seen countless of bidexiii pictures used on his own twitter platform, did he gave credit or reference once ?
Do you run the thread on twitter or you’re just a keen follower, have you for once corrected him of using photos from other military blogs without giving credit to the source.

I have noticed him taking quotes, stories, updates ,pictures and so on, making it seen like he is the source(might not be his intention), this is the first time I'm advising him.

I get your point, but putting just one air asset for the safety of the Chief executive if the state to me isn't much a displaced priority. I mean if the president can "own" a presidential bird, I see no reason why it's a big big sacrifice for the NAF to make by sending one "mini" bird along with the Governor.

99% of military blogs or thread get information from different source. Have you’ve not seen bidexiii materials been used on his twitter thread ?

https://twitter.com/saharareporters/status/1288735699273998336?s=21

Could this killing be as a result of maltreatment between oga and boy or psychological issues?
I posted a beautiful picture of a Second Lt. and a baby boy on military ceremonial on my WhatsApp status. one guy on my contact list who was a cadet but left the academy shortly after he was admitted replied: "This useless Cadet show me fire, if I make money...". I really don't know what prompted the NCO to kill the officer but I see similar possibilities of same scenario. That's why I felt so bad about the death of Late Lt. Sam. very free guy with his followers on Twitter. Anyawu even attested to the way he was simple to everyone.

sometimes, it's better to play meet to your juniors especially those ones that are depressed and walk with rifles.
