And the bitter part of it is that some of this beneficiaries are not even working for what they're been paid for but to talk rubbish on social media, insulting this INNOCENT WOMAN (i.e if INNOCENT)
I just pray she has the wisdom to tackle all this issues.
Lazy Social Media Youths (Some of them though)

That's not my issue with the woman

Either permanency or not na dem sabi

But it's not to much for the government to give them a permanent job if it's possible afterall they are looting and re-looting

Nevertheless! Not all beneficiaries abscond from work so they should be paid prompt . Since sadiya took over the Npower scheme she never paid month end, she either pays third week of next month or upper month....

The program has been devalued. That's what you get when you have an overzealous woman heading a ministry that she don't even have ideas of how things work.
Explain the word "devalued" in clear logic terms without emotions please.

Typical Nigerians, before they accepted the job, they were told it is temporary. It will last for 2yrs. They accepted, 4yrs down the line, government that brought them in, now said, okay, it is enough.
The beneficiaries then forgot the initial agreement and start abusing the government.

The beneficiaries are complaining of 2 months the are being owed and not the duration OK

[/quote] always reason before u conclude n an issue. If u are in their shoes,u will do d same. I am not saying govt should permanent them because i know is not possible but the woman should pay them what she owed them.
If it is easy what do u have to help them. Blame d govt who caused unemployment not those people.

The beneficiaries are only telling the minister to pay their salary arrears.. Moreover what can one save with 30k stipends?

Since Buhari took over power the same thing has been happening to the Arm Forces especially the NA where they're been paid first or second week of the following month and most of this people are in the North-East suffering and the APC Administration will be suffering their families at home as well. But I've not seen how PMB has been blasted thus far as to this woman.
There's one thing most of you don't understand and it is so painful; the fact that this people give out this money to be paid to workers/salary earners but the big men use it to do business, increase it for their selfish interests before giving it out to the salary earners.
I have worked with HQ 3 DIV Finance and I know what I'm saying so don't just follow the masses to reprimand people, know the detailed info before giving critics.
Now as a Youth, can you at least help her in spotting out her errors rather than condemning her.

very useless youths. This shows the kind of block heads we have in this country. A government that came in and promised empowerment for youths to be rotated every 2 years. They were told. They signed it. Somehow they were even left to reap the empowermnet for 4 whole years. 4 years. Now its turn for other youths to get they empowerment, the greedy idiots want to remain there. Nigerians are very ungrateful. They are shouting for 2 months stipend when they reaped extra 24months stipend.

I thought they were promised to be integrated into other jobs after their training?
I am sure more than 80% of the beneficiaries were just collecting free money without reporting to their place of assignment.
The best thing the ministry should have done is to disengage those that abandoned their duty and reward the diligent ones.

Nigerians are plagues!

Where in this world have you seen government programmes to serve its young population permanent? Not anywhere.
N-Power was to empower Nigerians, not employ them. The programme was suppose to last for 24 months, somehow it got to 44 months, yet beneficiaries blame the government.

Where the money wey dem pay you? Why can't you start up something? You learn skill, why can't you have your own establishment? You earn money, why can't you go into business?

I'm glad we're seeing our own problems.

Oga when the first set of Npower intakes were to be exited, the Government turned around an promised them permanency and start up pack, it was used as a campaign gimmick....you can't blame those folks. BTW militants are still collecting their 65k per month.....though Ateke Tom is slashing 25k off it.

I hate when people talk like illiterates ...

500,000 x 30,000 =15 billion a month ....180billion a year ....1.8 trillion in 10 years ....

For a program that adds absolutely nothing to our economy .....I no really blame una ...na say na Niger Delta no free fight for their oil

Everyone body for done come Down
Are you part of the program for you to know it adds nothing to the economy,in my PPA,they have only 2 permanent teachers(principal and v.p) we n-power are the ones doing all the jobs of main teachers,we go to work everyday and even get queried when you don't come for a day,we set and Mark exam scripts, prepare dossiers and broad sheets, share results etc
I am even the secretary to my principal,I go to the state capital to submit monthly returns and photocopies of time book at ministry of education. I spend 350 to and from work daily for 5days,I was taking 3subjects at a time from ss1 to 3 untill other batch B's came,I don't get paid any extra money,we currently have over a thousand students due to closure of ice in the state. so please don't generalize on something you know nothing about. we just rounded up exams before the Nationwide shutdown, results are yet to be compiled,ss3 are yet to write their ssce, how will they cope without tutoring before then? not everyone in Nigeria is not showing up at their PPA'S, some persons in same state with me got posted to different lga from ours and they spend over 4k weekly to and from PPA'S, stipend are paid third week of another month, sometimes 2 to 3months after most of the volunteers with families have incurred debts, tell me how can one save from such meagre amount that comes once in 6 to 7 weeks or 2 to 3months. if you have someone in your family or around you not going to PPA and eating free money, speak about them and never generalize. let's be civil with our ways of thinking.
NB: Graduates who are working are not good for employment but militants and unrepentant boko harams are paid monthly for doing nothing, can you see how senseful you are.

However, from the comments, I think they are being owed some months stipends. She should pay up to shut them up.
