Is a valid TB certificate required at the UK immigration for someone coming in with tier 2 visa if it gets expired after visa was issued but before entering UK?
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by mimilyrics: 5:52pm On Jul 30, 2020
Check for centrepoint international logistics on google. They're based in London. Used them a few times.
Mamatukwas:
Does anyone know any company who does Sea freight to Naija on a regular basis? And by regular I mean at least twice a month?

Kindly recommend if you do. Thank you.

Not sure you need the TB certificate again after getting the visa. The immigration officers won’t ask for that.

Have you got your drivers licence?
How easy is it learning manual in the UK if one uses automatic in Nigeria? I learnt that automatic cars in UK are very expensive compared to the manual ones.

Cool. Got to know them through my mum who had glowing recommendations about them. I've used them at several times between Nov 2017 and Nov 2019 and they've not disappointed me yet. I've picked up, dropped off and had stuff sent directly to my residence.
Been to their offices in London and Lagos and their ops looked ok.

Please can the experienced ones throw more light on how possible this is?

I am a mother of 4, planning to relocate to the UK from Nigeria before December 31st this year, as I plan to apply for pre-settled status under the EU settlement scheme.

I have an Irish citizen son who just turned 17, and 3 other children who are Non-EU. I would appreciate some advice on how to proceed with regards to the following:

Try samisonline, they’re in Birmingham but also have an online store. I buy from them and they do next day delivery for £6.99 or so

Thanks for the response. I have just spoken to the coronavirus extension team at the home office and they said nothing to worry about if tthe airport isn't opened and that they are also waiting for a decision to extend the date from the home office hopefully by next week.

Looks like they want to force people to leave... receive this email rejecting extension ...but Nigeria airport is still closed Or maybe it's a generic email and I need to call

Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Nobody: 5:53pm On Jul 31, 2020
Hello, they sent me this same mail yesterday. It is generic but the tone of the message isn't quite friendly. Same is on the https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-advice-for-uk-visa-applicants-and-temporary-uk-residents . I Got the Evac flight for MIL and she would be leaving on the next flight. The home office really do not want people to stay beyond 31st of August. Otehrwise one would require "exceptional indemnity" as stated and that one will be a long story.

Na wa home office .

Did you do covid test before booking a flight?. I guess I am forced to look for a flight . Hopefully there is one again after August 8
Re: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by Nobody: 6:42pm On Jul 31, 2020
Yes, I have just requested for covid 19 test home kit for £150 which includes dr's signature. I checked if NHS can do for free but they said that cannot be used for travel. So i had to make a request from a private clinic https://www.citydoc.org.uk/covid-19-fit-to-fly/. If you decide to go this evac route be prepared to spend at least £1K which includes the flight of course. Sadly, this is how Nigeria keeps failing its citizens. No one knows when the airspace would be opened and not after Airpeace has secured evac contract. God dey

I used the link above to book a free test and got results within 24 hours. There's the walk in and drive through option.

Hello, i am not sure if this is for people on visit visa. I think its only for residents. I didn't want to take any risk to avoid any comeback for using NHS service. I called the NHS and they said the result is by text only. The airline ( Airpeace) needs a test result and i believe they need an actual paper result not text message. That was why i had to pay for this to avoid missing the flight ( that would mean 400,000 naira gone). Do you have any one that used the evac flight with that free COvid 19 text message result from NHS?
