Have you really ever taken a bank loan? They know that most of the things loans are used for don't generate money. They're not dumb.

Unlike banks, they are not taking permanent possession of such assets. They take over the management of such assets, and the money generated from the assets are used for debt repayment. You can easily verify that from other African nations that have defaulted

Bros, I don't think any igbo man or Yoruba with correct business sense would have signed such deal. Do you think someone like Peter Obi would have taken a loan he cannot pay? Or after taking the loan use it on projects that will not generate profit or more so place business minded people that will run the projects commercially. Look at air peace and compare to Nigeria airways. Look at mtn and compare to nitel etc.
Even the Abuja kaduna railway (the most profitable route) we took loan for and being managed by Nigeria railways ie civil servants cannot pay its running cost and needs subsidy from fgn. How then will the loan be paid?
