Are you sure about this sir? When last did you visit Okun-Ajah area? It might interest you to know that for two sundays back to back now I’ve always gone to position there for surge trips to end my day. Last Sunday I took some guys to Santa Cruz beach around 7pm from Falomo, I quickly set destination to my house after dropping them and got a 2.5 surge trip straight to my estate.

The whole place was full to the brim.. with traffic, if you no hold your car well or carry overload you go sink for the sand

These guys have been operating, forget what the government is saying.

Some weeks ago, I went to atican beach, see crowd. Nigerians no dey hear word

You bettwr wake up. 35k?

Alot of drivers looking for cars, some are calling in with this present situation, begging to get a car for 27/28k.

I pity owner's who give out their cars for 20k, in couple of months you will return all that money for fixing.

Spare parts this days are very expensive.

Pray owner dont retrieve ur present car, people are no longer investing in buying cars for uber.

With present dollar rate 472, cars has gone up.

Drivers are calling in every day, looking for cars.

Most owners will sell off their cars and count their losses early.

It's not necessarily Wharf you should go to.

There's a place called Westminster... it's before Coconut busstop..But I don't know if it's still as before..Besides, containers and tankers don cover everywhere

My advise? Go to Ijesha bus stop. Just after it is a bus stop called Warehouse.. You'll see them offloading all these items from Containers...
Man wey sabi... You just reminded me of my old days of humble beginning at westminister...those years early 2002, no b now wey container don full every where...

Guy you self don hustle ooh... Coconut bus stop.

But boss you no say all markets in lagos now have days they open, im looking at going there on Wednesday.

Once church have start, on August 7 abi 14, car rental will go back to 30/35k drivers.

Baba leave matter... Instead of me to collect rent at 30/35k I'd rather subscribe to movie Africa.

Those guys keep callung me like twice weekly that uber keeps pushing my details to them.

A 2016 Honda Accord is waiting for me any time I am ready- those where the words of the lady that we spoke for almost 20min last week.

A phone, POP, I can travel with car within 9ja, car will always be under my custody, comprehensive insurance, plus other benefits attached.

The only thing I've not signed up with them because ;
1) My oga madam na correct woman and she hasn't given me a reason to leave even if my madam oga dey f****p but na still correct guy shall.
2) business is still slow with uber, it will be extremely difficult for a family man like me to rent at 25k unless it's HP but say rental? Nnbanu.

So I don't want to give myself a bad name.

I will say it again, any owner giving out car for 20k, will go bankrupt in few months, he won't have money to maintain the car.

All driver will do is look for another owner.

What did u see driving Uber? Olosho insult u?
Go slow for road? Owner 4 dash u the car bc u see all those things.

U don dey hustle since 2000/2002 for wharf, why not go back to wharf, since uber driving job is tough.

Bros, no b fight. Fell free to give out your car for 35k. If you get someone to drive and deliver steadily good and fine. You don’t have to insult anyone. Millions for car is not a small thing. We understand where you are coming from but please don’t choke it on anyone. Thanks.

I agree with u. and ekehopp. Most tyms your ratings dip immediately a rider dishes out 1 star.

I had an experience in surulere on Wednesday.

I had rejected like 4 or 5 short trips lready within surulere.. You know surulere n short trips.

Rider: I'm at so n so estate.
Me: OK, lmost at your end.

Trip was around 5km. Within me, I know dis kind of short trips will still end up ₦500. She said she was going to transfer, I told her ₦500 is too small for transfer, says she used up her cash. I just kept quiet.

Got to destination, trip ended ₦550. Called a guy to bring ₦500. Just told her to bring d 500 cos of d delay.

Got another ride to Maryland, 3rd party rider. Ended trip at Maryland. Rating dropped 0.05.

So, I knew it was d ₦500 rider dt did d damage..

N I have maintained d said rating for d previous two weeks without changing. B4 d incident.

So i find it incredible dt she was my 40th rider.

don't mind him because one desperate driver has called him you he now feel everybody is desperate, they will drive the car two weeks they will not deliver they will even take the little thing they have made to feed their family first before you come and collect your car back.

Car owners should just keep their thing at home, this is not the wise time to give out car to drivers on rental until economy improves. I have this strong belief that things will get better come Ember months.
