I just discovered that my girlfriend's father worships a Deity that was passed down to him from his forefathers.

I just discovered this after I paid a visit to the family.

I have confronted her but she said it's harmless. And that the Dad is a good that doesn't do evil.

Deep in your heart, I know you have the answer you seek. Maybe a resounding no. Follow it. I have no problem with what people choose to believe in. But when it conflicts with mine I don't negotiate. If your girlfriend is a Christian go ahead and marry her. Her father's believe is inconsequential. I have seen many pastors whose father's were herbalists. Marry her if she is good enough for.
