Guys pls help, how do I fund my PayPal account. I already link my zenith master card . Can I transfer fund from my bank account directly to my PayPal account?.

You don't need to do anything na. once you've chosen your MasterCard on paypal as your preferred payment method, once you have to pay for something, just choose the paypal option and paypal will automatically debit your Zenith MasterCard
Re: GT Bank Naira Master Card No Longer Works On International Trade Websites by Dwightventures(m): 9:40pm On Aug 04, 2020
The paypal freeze was a security freeze to work on their systems, much like how our banks would send messages that they would not be available from so so time to so so time. The paypal mumus did it after disrupting services for a whole week plus. They now require your phone for OTP that you'll enter to get into your account. Seems some card works and some don't. I don't think first bank MasterCard works as yet, but I'm still checking. God, I suffered the last one week

I contacted them after I read your comment and the attached screen shot is our conversation. All these is only pointing out that there is a new banking policy in place. Access Bank told me that their Naira Master/Visa Card is working but their new limit is now $1000 per month instead of $3000 and their exchange rate is $345 which is high comparing it to GT Bank & Zenith Bank exchange rate. Maybe before the end of this month, Nigerians will begin to understand & feel what is happening as regards to making payments on international websites with our debit cards.

Thank you bro. I think out of greediness, these banks prefer selling to abokis and they want us to go patronize them. Very heartless set of people.

Hi Nairalander's,

I observed something recently while trying to use my GT Bank Naira Master Card on Aliexpress. Three days ago, I tried to help my younger sister make payment (of $156.79 USD) for her order on Aliexpress. But to my amazement, the payment wasn't successful. I contacted GT Bank customer service and was informed that their Naira Master Card has been restricted not to work on Trade websites like Aliexpress, Alibaba, Ebay, Amazon, etc.
I also reached out to a friend who knows about the recent development and he told me that some people were taking advantage of the GT Bank's online exchange rate of N390 to $1USD to enrich themselves.

Please anyone that has made payment on any International Trade Websites (within this week) using his or her Naira Master/Visa Card should kindly share his/her experience.

Below is also an email I received from Fluterwave on their Barter Virtual Dollar Card Service Interruption on the 29th on July 2020. This is a sign that there is going to be some international transactions restriction on all Nigerian Bank Cards.

Actually, there's a $100 per day limit for dollar transactions on a Naira MasterCard.

It's CBN policy.

This means that those that already have the virtual dollar don't have issues. Applying for new cards is currently not available. So enjoy.
