Yes, if you have a microwave that's your best option. just mix your semolina with water, put in the microwave to cook. After some minutes bring it out stir properly and cook again. You can use desame procedure for amala as well.

Cooking has gone nuclear indeed.
I use food processor to make swallow these days as I am not a fan of stirring and turning it on stove top.

I use oat and potato. Cook potato, mix oat flour with little water and microwave. Blend the potatoe and use dough button to finish it up after adding the oat and everybody is happy.

For some reason, I felt like eating early. So, I whipped up some potato soup enriched with cinnamon and turmeric. Not my regular meal though cos I rarely eat animal protein.

Put it in any container you want it to take the shape. Press well to fill all edges, flatten it, then turn it out on your plate.

There are serving spoons that come shaped like that too.
