I put another LNB right on top of the first one, the LNBs touching, skew at 3 o'Clock and blind scanned,

the 2nd one is showing MYTV.




Which satellite is Yayi on? I thought it was 42E
Which Satellite is Mytv on? I thought it was 45E (same as Nigcomsat)




Anyway

Actually my intention was to try get Nigcomsat on one of the LNB


What would be the best course of action? Push the dish up or down?

You've got it all mixed up and upside down, Lol.

First and foremost, the Primary LNB getting Yayi isn't on 42.5° E. rather Yayi is on 45°E.
.
Nigcomsat on the other hand is on 42.5°E not 45°E.
So, the second LNB you put on top getting MYTV is actually getting 51.5°E, that is MYTV position.
.
In a nutshell, Your first (primary) LNB is on 45°E(Yayi), the second one is on 51.5°E.(Mytv).

If you want to get Nigcomsat with the first (Primary) LNB, take your dish down a little, maybe 2cm, then scan this frequency, 12519 H 29500 you should be good.

i'll try it again today. tried that yesterday and no sign of Nigcomsat using that TP. maybe i'll get lucky

If you have 90cm use it. It will only make it easier to track. You can also track 26e with the same lnb.

Around 20-25k depending where you're buying it from.
