A man who abandoned his wife and children for six years in search of greener pastures has been tied up and sent back to his people. The report was made public by a Twitter user with the handle @Ekwulu.

Ekwulu claimed that the man left his wife, children, and aged parents for 6 years in search of greener pastures in the western part of Nigeria. He claimed that since he left, the man hasn’t been able to send any money to his family.

He was recently spotted at a livestock market in Abeokuta by a family member, who then tied him up and sent him back home via a truck.

Hard way

At times you people are packaging more problems for the family. Obviously, the man cannot even fend for himself. Now, you are sending him back to the poor family. The family needs him to provide for them and not the other way round. My observation though.

This is absurd and a total disregard of his freedom. Sending him back makes not so much difference i.e. if it doesn't add to the burden of the family.

That's inhuman, tying him like that can cut off blood supply from his knee downwards not minding the fact that he is been transported to the north, judging from the dressing.

That man can't give what he doesn't have, they can even hang him and he will still be a liability.

Just like this man, despite calling Southwest all sort of derogatory names, all of them are always quick to run down to the west.
They pack their clothes and shoes in a nylon bag; jumping on the next available bus while forgetting their families

The rate at which they throng in, God must reside in the southwestern states

He us going back to put thst his wife through another round of depression, he should have been left like that

The wife have already moved on with her children, since he chose stupidity over family

They needed closure. Who knows they might be mourning him
