[Our] Southern Kaduna natives are kindhearted and have refused to give these suspected killers what they unleashed on innocent citizens. However, they were handed over to the authorities. We hope they will do the needful.

It came as a surprise that the US had to make it public instead of through the Nigerian government. Is the US trying to clear the air on allegations in the public and social media that it is not doing enough with intelligence sharing?

Why would the USA have to resort to public channels to give information to Nigeria.

Does the possibility exist that after several intelligence information briefs to the Nigerian government. There has been no commensurate response to mitigate against the situations raised.

I think we should look at ourselves.

There were claims that when the Chibok girls were abducted USA intelligence pinpointed their location. However, the Nigerian armed forces did not act on the information.

Two different approaches.

You have love for mediocrity and incompetence.

I have zero tolerance for both. My expectations for the nation are different from yours. What you call love for the nation is not what l call love.

You base you entire deduction on a newspaper report. Which in itself alludes to misgivings about the conduct of the Nigerian military. Considering at that time communications were spearheaded by Alex Badeh ( is there anymore to be said)

I heard it on the radio too. What do they even mean by heavy artillery? I'm thinking they meant to say Armoured Personnel Carriers.

There's probably a silent gangup against the military. More firepower to the police can be done without necessarily having a police artillery corp (if there's any such thing).

With the huge security vote within the state coffers, the governors definitely have the wherewithal but that will only create another disastrous dimensions to the war theatre. They simply want a justification to hijack the war from the military.

Too much mistrust

You must not criticize everything. I've never seen you giving kudos even when it's deserved. At least for the people risking their lives, sometimes a word of encouragement could go a long way. Peace..

At times, your comments frustrates me, but that's my problem not yours.
If after providing Intel through government channels and there was no response from the Nigerian government as you are assuming, then if what use is resorting to public channel when the same government won't still act? Hoping that the citizens will respond to the Intel? Cmon!
Now that the supposed Intel has been published for the whole world to note, what has it achieved?

In a world where people are demanding for the demilitarization of the police, we want to start arming them with artilleries?
People that are not even meant to be moving around with assault riffles sef, that is why they are able to kill innocent civilians carelessly.
The primary weapon of most of these police units should be tasers. Lethal weapons should be allowed only when on operations requiring it or by special teams meant for quick reactions.
Maybe they should also give them armored tanks and fighter jets grin
